Have they thought that maybe Liverpool might have to put another bid in or have I missed some memo? Are we are supposed to pay Liverpool to take him?
-
I am not pro or anti Hojlund. £30m appeals to me because they paid £70m for him which is a ridiculous reason for him to seem wortht the punt. I think I fell for the line that he was going to be the next Haaland because Manchester United were buying him. He may just be shite and really lucky to have been given a stupid deal. On the other hand, a few players seem to do well either side of being in that mess. That doesn’t mean he would be though.

Isaks stats were not groundbreaking before he came to us 19-20 p 37 g 9 20-21 p 34 g 17 21-22 p 32 g 6 I also think he has been shafted at Manchester United.

To be fair, I think the same could be said for Schar, Gordon, Bruno and Joelinton as I think they would all be liable to more red cards under different leadership.

It is a really hard one to judge as I genuinely feel that Howe and his team's approach get the better out of a player. You look at the output Miley can give as an impact sub, with limited time vs when he had to be played every game (injury may have played its part) and you think Jackson may do really well here as he isn't player number 18 let alone player 12, 13 or 14. I just don't want the shite that cannot make it at Chelsea meanwhile easing or improving their PSR.

I did know that water boils at different points. Is it at 100 at sea level? I think it was an acceptable example.

It would be great if Osula had the second season wonder that Gordon and Hall had.
-
Well, I have to admit that I would have had it as "per say' as I have never seen it written down. Makes a lot more sense. Got to love the side quests of knowledge that I get on here.
-
The only massive issue is getting his replacement in before he goes to reduce the price. Price will be high now as people know we are trying to replace in advance. It will be higher still if he goes first.

An opinion is not a fact, for some people it can come across as a bit complex. A fact is something that’s true no matter how anyone feels about it. For example: Water boils at 100°C. An opinion, on the other hand, is when someone feels a certain way about something, regardless of whether it’s true or not. Like: “Isak is not worth £150m.” That’s not a universal truth—it’s just someone emotionally reacting. So, to put it simply: Facts don’t care about your feelings. Opinions are your feelings.

'Day'?

Has he not just signed for them permanently in this window?

It is social media that we need to be done with. Pricks like Romano rubbing it in and the walkers who think they have some moral victory getting the three players that they have. I am not being funny. I want them at NUFC I don't want them at Manchester United. I am also pleased I don't support a club who has claimed they were 6 months away from bankruptcy to make people on low wages redundant to then drops the money they just have. I hope Liverpool drop their interest in Isak, not for him to stay but so that we can show how he was shafted like Gordon was. We are currently in a better shape than we were at the start of the window.

I have no ill will to Sesko if he is getting that much money. Worst case scenario for him now is that he goes and plays shite at Manure. I would love the opportunity to be paid £10,000,000 to have the same experience and Hojlund. He cannot lose really.
-
But we won't pay Isak £300k a week, even though he is a proven striker who works in our system? People choose to believe anything without even applying even a few basic questions to show how ridiculous it is.
-
That is what I thought had happened but I couldn't find it with a quick Google. AI is also not very helpful for things like this yet.

Have I made up a memory of Howe getting Targett to start playing in midfield before he was injured again?
-
Who is in charge of negotiating for us? I remember watching that Charlie Methven on that Sunderland show and wondered who on earth could possibly meet him and think 'that is probably going to be an alright place to work'. I do wonder when we are getting this many rejections, wether there is an issue like this.
-
Or it would have boosted his price.
-
I don't buy that for one second. I think the narrative of us being bought to sport wash only holds water because we are a club of the status that we are. There would have been none of the level of noise had they bought Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool. Did anyone have any issue with the Russian money before the war with Ukraine?
-
Is this on par with when they got Michael Scott to go in and deliver a talk?
-
It is a bit of a piss take that noone has put together a dossier on the local golf courses etc. to show off to Sesko. It is no wonder he doesn't feel loved by us and that he would prefer to play for Manchester United.
-
We all know that Manchester Uniter are in decline. I am not sure how obvious it is to those outside England. I think that Manchester United having all the additional signing will make little difference. The issues appear to be at board level rather than in the management. They have had so many problems. The Ashworth and staff redundancies type of sagas are issues that will impact on the playing staff. A toxic work place impacts on everyone. Hojlund will never end up here but I think he, like a lot of other former players, will more than likely flourish when he leaves, if he has not been too damaged. It is a piss take that we have had our main striker act like a dick then we have been dragged along by a player who it looks like he will never end up here. I don't blame Sesko in this as he has no attachment to NUFC, Manchester United has the bigger brand, on paper we were level on points last year. They have still have trophies in recent years. We have had 1. I am not convinced that it is going to work out for Sesko at Manchester United. This is not based on him, rather it is based on the vast number of people who have failed there. I know that people will point and say that Sesko should acknowledge this but he will also back himself to be a success. It has just been tiring.
-
Is there an element of trying to stop us competing? We have had Manchester United go after Mbeumo. Liverpool went after Etikite. Man City got Trafford. These all seemed legitimate. This feels different as we have left it this late to go after Sesko but this is because Liverpool have left it late to go for Isak. I cannot see why Manchester United would not have started the process much sooner if he had been a genuine target. I also would not be completely suprised if Liverpool moved away from the Isak deal and nothing more was said about it. This is based on what happened with Gordon. Only difference is that they put a bid in for Isak.

It is beyond ridiculous. Common sesne would get anyone with an incline of investigation to compare their wage structure and the current reported price that is being reported for Hojlund to our wage structure amd the prices that are being reported for Isak amd what we recouped for Wood (Kelly was an outlier and the only good bit of business for Mitchell).
