Point stands. We played on the back foot for most of the game with limited resources. Was it a pen, no, was it a good call, no. Fact is that we were 'lucky' on many occasions. I said that it was probably a fairer reflection over the two Dortmond games that we got something out of it. You cannot watch that game and say it was a solid win.

They really do appear to be the Merseyside Mackems. Southampton fans were wishing Tino luck and hoping we would look after him. Even though I was disappointed to see him go, I remember hoping that Woodgate would do well at Real Madrid. -
That is such a shame to read. I think he offers us the ability to pick the ball up on the half way line and drag the whole team to the edge of the 16 yard box. I am really hoping that we can help him recover.

Ritchie should have been gone before the take over. Just shows what a professional he is that he is able to deliver for us when we are stretched so thinly. This pains me to say it but I think Howe may be a better manager for us than Sir Bobby was. I am slightly too young to remember Keegan's first stint with us.
