He's in the middle of a 6 in a row losing streak at City and showing no signs of knowing how to stop it mate. His passion is doing fuck all at the minute. 122605 Poor mans Keegan tbh.

Has Al got a little bit of a semi-on there? Can hardly blame him.

add to that loads of chocolate, hot cross buns and late bars and I think you could be right 122544 Seconded

CRTs aren't exactly flat though, are they? So if it's aesthetics you're after, I'd avoid them. 122194 No, not really. I do like the picture quality you get on a CRT, but for a decent sized screen they take up half your living room.

The fans, board and players want him back. Unfortunately for you Rafa doesn't. Wouldn't be suprised if he ended up at ManU, Arsenal or Chelsea if he has a brilliant World Cup. One thing I will agree with you on is that he always looks after his own interests regardless.

3 nowt, Shearer hat-trick.

So is CRT still worth considering too?

This isn't the sort of game to throw Luque back in - he'd wilt. A game for strong hearts & minds, I reckon Faye and Clark will do enough to win it.

Riverside -> St James = 36 miles

Funny you should say that Jimbo. Remember seeing somewhere recently that LG are considered world leaders in this technology and provide a lot of the screens for other manufactufers to build their sets around.

I'm looking to buy an new tv, flat screen, HD-ready, built-in freeview, probably a Panasonic to match up with the rest of my gear, upto a maximum of about a grand. Anyone with personal experience / expertise on whether lcd or plasma is the way to go? What are the pros & cons of each format?

That's them all over though isn't it? The same lot that demanded to be named in the honours list after last season. They have a major superiority complex. I've lived in shared houses with both Evetonians and Reds and found, on the whole, the Toffees to be much easier to get along with. 121826 I have the experienced the reverse situation, many , many times. Even on here as a rule Liverpool supporters come across better than the Everton one, imo. Everton fans are sad, embittered arseholes - Scouse mackem bastards if you will! I like this generalisation game.... 121883 I'm only going on personal experience: Toffees; affable, self-depricating Reds; arrogant, boastful, divine-righters I know we give the Evertonians stick on here as being the Scouse Mackems, but the ones I've got to know in person, have been genuine, nice people.

Peter Sarstedt?

..on the steps of St James' with a smiling Portly Freddie beside him? 121870 Holding a black & white scarf aloft? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

See you later Bagpuss.

7th is definitely do-able, we must be better bets than Bolton and Wist Am on current form.

I've heard round boro that if Mclaren gets the England job they want Tony Mobray from Hibs. Local lad.
-
Prolific tbh.

All bullshit to fill up the back pages. Why would we be buying/selling players now, before any new manager has had a good look at the squad?
-
And Dickov.

Got to pay off those losses somehow. (Although I do think stadia naming is tacky). How much are we talking?

I wouldn't trust him as far as I could spit.
