Clarkie put in some decent performances for Fulham last year. If push comes to shove I'm sure he won't let us down in midfield if partnered with Parker and Emre. As has been said, I'd rather have him in there than Butt.

My thoughts exactly. My theory is FS has given up on Souness and is therefore not giving him anymore money to spend. The Owen and to a lesser extent, Boa Morte deals are convenient smoke screens. Rightly or wrongly Souness is being hung out to dry.

I'm sure the chairman knows the price. If he's not willing to match it he should cross BoaMorte off the list and move on instead of dragging a dead or dying deal on for weeks on end.

Extremely frustrating. The wicket keeper is basically the only professional/specialist fielder on the team. For me Jones makes to many errors for someone in that role. Regulation stumpings/catches/run-outs should be a given at this level.
