1. [borat]I like our new foreign visitors. It's a'niiice.[/borat]
2. Once again, Shepherd is one step ahead of both us and the Football Authorities. He's had a special Tommy Craig Suit designed for Roeder which will make him look for all the world like the man himself. This will allow Roeder to work in the dugout on match days and still be Glenn Roeder the rest of the time. If UEFA suss this he's going to have Roeder and Craig undergo Face Off style face transplant surgery.
3. Bit harsh, like. Too much White Zinfandel for you this evening, I reckon. Love all the People by Bill Hicks? I've read that, very enjoyable. I think the issue may be slightly more complex than he makes it out to be. I prefer it when he talks about mushies tbh. 131401 Semillon Chardonnay actually. Aye, Love all the People. Good read.
4. Glad someone brought that up, France doesn't seem to have any of the problems the US has. It's very important how it's handled, though, and to be honest I'd worry about the English government on that front. On a side issue I don't think the US constitution does actually allow firearm ownership. "The right to bear arms" is quoted completely out of context in a section that paraphrased runs - the right to bear arms in the event that a public militia is required - or something. Anyway, RIP, it's a bloody shame, why ever it happened. 131393 Aye I've read a bit by Bill Hicks pointing that out as well. You're right though - you need the special combination of a right to bear arms.......and a nation of morons to get what they have in the US.
5. Awwww, our little Biddy's all grown up these days. Makes you proud!
6. Pele's revolutionary zig-zag tactics an'all. Better than Mourinho.
7. Better penalty saver than the Irishman though. That's not even in question.
8. On Channel 5 now. Get watching! Sly is better than Shay. FACT!
9. Nah, apparently they have their own place in the competition as winners, and the other qualifying places are unchanged.
10. Bridget man, the problem with it is that it makes us look even more of an unprofessional shambles than we normally do. Can you imagine signing a young foreign kid and having to explain to him that errrrrr, that bloke called manager errrr isn't really the manager.....that's the other bloke. Yeah him there. Aye, we just call that other bloke manager cos errrrr our Chairman is dead clever and got round the UEFA rules by calling someone manager who isn't really manager. It's just ridiculous.
11. Finished 1-1. Out of Bolton's hands now. Beat Chelsea and we're in the Intertoto. Cheers boro.
12. I cannot abide that ugly bastard. I just started writing an email to the sports editor of the Chron but I'm too fucking tired to summon sufficient bile to do the fucking cockwipe justice. I'll do it tomorrow instead if I can be arsed. I don't use the c-word but fuck me, if Alan Oliver isn't the fucking dictionary definition of one.
13. Bit of quality there from Le Tiss. Juggling it over the hun and wellying a volley that came back off the post for Lee Sharpe to finish. He did the old Three Amigos celebration. Titmus went mental in the crowd - I assume Sharpe's knobbing her these days?
14. Bastards. Haway man Boro you pack of horrible wankers!
15. And we're getting done off the hun! The bastards are cheating and only playing two celebs instead of the stipulated four. Typical fucking cheating krauts!
16. Is anyone watching this shit? Martin Offiah is the best player on the park for England and he's not even a fucking footballer.
17. why did you post it all? anyone give a shit? seriously? 131326 You do realise they're playing Bolton right?
18. If it's half as good as the Marina Dalglish match........it'll be absolutely SHITE!
19. Is there any substance at all to the Houllier link, or are you clutching at straws? 131251 I suspect I'm clutching at straws. I don't know of anything to suggest that there's substance to the link.
20. I believed all of the "This is a huge decision which we must get right" stuff as well. I honestly thought that this time he was going to really put the spadework in and get it right. I suppose this might end up working out, but as Alex has said elsewhere it'll be by fluke more than anything else. I'd be much happier if there was the likes of Houllier involved as well.
21. LM blames all that stuff on me though. Shepherd gets away with all of that on the "he was backing his manager" technicality.
22. True. 131203 By Shepherd. Is it getting through yet? Backing the manager is no good if it's the wrong manager. In fact, the one time Shepherd should have been 'keeping his powder dry' he backed the manager with unprecedented funds. That coupled with Souness's pay-off may well have fucked our chances of getting anyone decent and probably means we'll have to sell before we can buy, despite the threadbare squad. 131209 The "Hindsight" stick or the "McKeag/Westwood" stick? Which one do you want to be punished with?
