Right, this isn't what CT was doing. The bloke basically says that first of all there's some cultural context to be understood here in that Germans will do and say stuff like this and it's just all handshakes afterwards and nobody gets offended. Secondly the people that are saying this are answerable to Bayern's "members", who I assume are the fans (I don't know enough about club structure), and they are suddenly facing a new reality. They have dominated this market for years and whilst Man City coming in and taking players out from under their nose is one thing, now Newcastle are doing it, and this is an uncomfortable moment for them and they are publicly scrambling to justify/make excuses to the members.
