One quick bit of advice, if you do get an interview they will probably ask why you want to go to University so I would think hard about the answer you give as your answers on here are about as deep as a puddle (that isn't meant to sound harsh, I just don't think "because I want to" and "I want to learn more about computer science because I don't know nothing about it" will impress them all that much).

I think people are telling you to consider not going to uni because you seem to be in it for the wrong reasons. Also your career choice might not be what you really want to do. It's something you sound like you want to get into with no real idea of what is involved and those who do it for a living are trying to give you geniune advice.

Very true, we have had a number of frustrated university graduates who just couldn't get anywhere.

If you don't want advice Kevin you shouldn't ask for it. I just think you have set your targets a little too high, ambition isn't a bad thing but it's obvious you won't get to where you want to be so need to lower your expectations and start punching at your level (ie McDonalds), you could be assistant to the manager in a few years, bringing home the real big bucks like £6 an hour.
