I'm not being funny (and would love to see the back of Smith and Ameobi) but do we really want to be losing more players at this stage? Surely it'd be better to keep hold of them until next transfer window and utilise them in cup matches or something? We're pretty threadbare as it is...

Hmm, I'd hope that selling Milner would be an indication that we must have something in the pipeline prior to deadline day, otherwise we wouldn't have let him go - transfer request or not. On a side note I don't think he's a great loss, but it is another decent squad player out of the door and it's squad players we could do with to bulk the squad out sadly. ... hope he breaks his leg though

This radio I bought was £24.99 from Argos, plays real well, quality's good and I get a fair few channels as well. Thing is I totally agree that the PR's been rubbish for DAB, I hadn't even considered it, hadn't really looked in to it at all or knew much about it until I went out of my way to research it a bit. I wonder if one of the rockstars who saved Planet Rock last time was Alice Cooper, he does the breakfast show I'd recommend listening to it to anyone who likes rock music, all the class bands are on there, not much of the teeny bopper bullshit bands that last for a year or so these days.

Harsh there on Diouf, I'm no fan of the camel-humping wife-beater but he's far better than Smith. Hmm I wouldn't say so. Smith gets far too much stick and it was probably easy for Diouff to stick out in a terrible Bolton side. I'm not sure where the mackems are playing him because he is certainly not a goal scorer. He's had about two decent performances in black and white (not counting friendlies). He's been absolutely awful. I don't think he's ever really played in a good Newcastle side for a sustained period of time and it didn't help him being played out of position or up front with little or no service. He's been awful but he can cut it at Premier League level he just needs to get back to his form and show he wants to play for Newcastle. That's the thing with Smith, if he was played week in, week out as a striker in a decent side with decent service I reckon he'd hit form again. I just don't think we could afford to wait that long for him to click in to gear though.

What about him? You wanna have him in ...........? When it was first mooted towards the end of last season, I said no. Now, I'd say yes, at the right price etc. Mainly because he's decent and the squad is small. I just find it funny that wykikitoon is in favour of him coming when he doesn't rate Wright-Phillips. If that is what he was getting at. I'd deffo have Bullard in, reckon he'd really come in to his own in a big team. ... I'm still waiting for this player that Fat Ash reckons is coming in that'll blow my socks off
