Anthony Gordon Handsome Winger Man

I'm guessing certain people aren't happy with what Pickford said either. Friendship ended? -

You know the season is over when MF digs up 9 year old articles. It is a pretty good one though to be fair to him.

They've got tsunami zones marked out in Oregon too, public warning systems and all that. Mind you there's still schools, hospitals and what not within those areas so not sure exactly how seriously they are prepared. The general American attitude is probably a bigger threat than lack of preparedness tbh. In Texas they seem to be pretty well prepapred for extreme weather, and north Texas does get a lot of it. Sirens go off for hail, tornados. You also get alerts on your phone, and they tell you exactly what the threat and danger is and what time exactly the storm will be where in the area. Quarter size hail, golf ball size, baseball size. Doesn't stop some from pulling out their trucks and driving off as the alarms are going off Just yesterday Dallas got battered by hurricane force winds. I looked out the window for a brief moment and in that time saw at least 3 people get into their trucks, one of them literally feet away from a place where the roof was flapping and about to come down.

Aye it's the FFP that's the main thing here. Don't really mind not playing in the competition other than that. It's bloody typical what's happened though, us losing control of the Europa place right near the end of the season. What pissed me off is that Manu have had our number when it really counts forever, and that hasn't changed in the last two seasons. Can't stand the cu**s. Finishing above them for the first time is a start though.

Assholes City, just typical

And 17 in each of the last 2 season. Meh. He's okay if we're getting someone else too and he comes on the cheap (which wont happen) as a 3rd striker.
-
He'd injure himself in between getting off the bench and walking to the 4th official to be subbed. In other words, he can't be trusted much like Wilson this season. We'd end up hoying Gordon or Barnes up top again.

As a Tolkien fanboy I'm still not over how bad it was. Forget the adaptation, the actors/casting were generally terrible, more out of a teen movie than a supposed epic fantasy.

They never looked this bad under Ole iirc. This is terrible news, I'm proper gutted I was hoping for another full season of Ten Hag, maybe another one or two truly rotten signings. But at least with how Ineos have done so far there's hope for more comedy in the future. -

Also shows how confident ManU hierarchy are about their FA Cup chances, doing all this of days before the final You'll always be fondly remembered Erik. I can't think of anyone else who's ever made a billion pound team look so rubbish. -
Well all this is has shown is that the mighty US of A is the place to be for meaningless friendlies.

He's 22 though. I agree it's still probably a little bit of a concern for potential suitors.

DCL would be absolutely insane, Wilson's injury record with less goals. Some upgrade. Don't think there's much in this story, its CN after all, but I'm with Gloom on Bowen. He's going to cost more than he's worth. Olise might be a better shot for that kind of money and he's much younger so you have sell on value.

I thought Rogue One was pretty decent, probably the best thing they've put out in recent decades. Andor runs it close.

Didn't he play for a couple of the completely unmemorable PL clubs too? Everton?

I want to know how he tried to delete that email. Did he try to delete it from his sent items folder?

Chelsea btw I was just thinking the other day that they could be a problem for us next season too if they're smart in the summer window. This is a brilliant move and hopefully resets the progress of the last 6 months, Please please let Slot be a clown too. Can't wait for next season -

They can't assume that when UEFA and others are struggling to prove anything right? Imagine a EY/KPMG partner walking up to the City board with all their connections, and saying "Erm, you're in the news for being dodgy, so we're going to conduct a forensic investigation and charge you a couple of extra mil this year". Completely unfathomable even for lower profile companies than City and it's owners. Most large companies have a number of open cases they're fighting at any given time, auditors give them a cursory glance to the extent they are likely to affect the financial statements. That's mainly it. Let's say the situation was more clear cut, with City fined and being looked into by government authorities, in that case the firm would have protocols based on risk, from withdrawing completely to amending scope and limiting liability to cover their arses. Very rare. -

Having spent years in one, it doesn't necessarily work that way. 1. Statutory audits and other audit engagements aren't designed to detect fraud, if you pick up official audit engagement paperwork you'll see disclaimers around that. 2. Auditors and big firms know the sum of feck all usually, they occupy themselves with filling checklists and forms, and rarely know much about whats really going on at the company. They also dont want to upset their big money clients. Big firms are routinely fined millions of dollars for lack of care and substandard work, just google it if you wish. -

Definitely not going to forget about this from next season
