Spot on... Further highlighting the fact that they should have been strengthening in the transfer windows rather than focusing on making money...
-
I remember being in the 6th form and one of the lads crowing for weeks because he'd got tickets to see Nivana - and really laying it on thick... Didn't believe us for a good few hours that he'd killed himself - thought we were on the wind up. Angry fucker once the penny dropped mind!

Bernie with egg on his face once more.... but he'll deflect the blame elsewhere. It's not necessarily the thunderstorms Dr Ken, it's the failing light. They knew it was going to be dark by the time 2 hours came up but still they persued it - all so Jonny European could watch the race at a 'normal' time. He fails to realise that anyone who is half a fan of the sport would get up to watch it regardless of what time it's on! As for the thing with John Button & DC, I think it's all fun and games. DC is big mates with Jenson and I wouldn't be surprised if DC, being a practical joker, hadn't done something to Button Snr... Don't think it was anything sinister.

In a nutshell... In 1992, Keegan bought Kilcline and everyone laughed. He shored up the defence good and proper though!

I can't understand what all the praise is for with regards to him... he's gash and always has been! -
Fuck me, I've just gone on the BBC News site and there's an even bigger floral banner saying JADE FROM BERMONDSEY

Propaganda from start to finish. I firmly believe the police were behind this story and as Lord Justice Taylor put in his report, not one witness he spoke to backed up the story and those who reported it and those who published it were ill advised to do so. Absolute bullshit it is. While the police deliberately lied to the media, which led to a few articles in proper papers that were critical (though more 'tame') of Liverpool fans that all got retracted, Kelvin MacKenzie deserves plenty of blame for the article - there's a quote fairly recently (couple of years back I think) where he basically refuses to apologise for it and says essentially 'they deserved it'. He refused to apologise on the grounds that there wasn't concrete proof that what he printed was wrong (he's right!). Still doesn't make him any less of a wanker though. re: the song - I wonder how many so-called Liverpool fans have downloaded that song illegally? I'm not making a sweeping generalisation of Liverpulians per se, this question could be pitched at any incident when a tribute song is released but surely that would question whether they are true fans.

I've got Rambling Minister in the sweep at work. Have thrown too much away on the National for the last couple of years to risk anything more...

Official Jimbo's TV Confirmation: Alan Shearer: Manager of Newcastle United
Craig replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
I hope to fuck your tongue is firmly in cheek there. What I meant to say is that I think the club's mind is already made up - they want him as much as the fans do, they probably realise the backlash if they didn't persue him after the summer. I think they'll approach him pushing the decision on whether to stay firmly onto Shearer's shoulders... -
That's quite a talent...

She was on the monkey bars? Take it she gets her height from her mother then?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/7978436.stm I think we (the fans) have got a job on our hands persuading him to stay on.... I think it's down to him, if he wants it, it'll happen - the club aren't the decision makers here... -

Hold your horses man ffs Got to say I don't know how anyone could have got the impression he was staying after 8 games. He categorically ruled it out several times. He never really answered the question to be fair. He did answer "8 games and 8 games only" but I think that's pointing out what has been agreed. He evidently won't talk about anything beyond that rightly so as it's evidently not been something that's been discussed. What a refreshing change after JFK to have a manager who will only talk about what he knows about and doesn't spout bullshit... I'm also pleased to hear him talking about Ashley and Llambias on a first-name basis. I was never comfortable with either Keegan's "The owner" or "the chairman" nor JFK's "Mr Ashley". To be referred to in such a way should be done as a form of respect and I don't think either of them have done much this season to command respect. -

Seriously, what is it with the regime's obsession with Kinnear? Is he blackmailing them? I can't fucking believe they've said that - was expecting them to be totally ambiguous about Kinnear but he clearly stated that he was going to get himself fit so he can return as team manager for next season.
