Does it matter though if you buy the shirt from elsewhere? for instance Dixon Sports I aussme, have already purchased x thousand of them so you buying one from them will not make a difference? Or are we saying that boycotting the purchase altogether will also force his hand from other retailers? Or try nabbing one through an online auction

Quite agree... That's the night where we'll find out if people are serious or not. I've already paid for that ticket too though. Ebay? What would be the point in that? Well it would get your money back for one thing. Was being facetious when I wrote it but forgot the wink.... Shame this all happened after the Spurs tickets went on sale - would have been very interesting to see the turnout.

Bit harsh really... I'm not a season ticket holder so there's no action I can take from that point of view. I won't however be buying one-off tickets for the forseeable future. I do appreciate that it's a "damned if you do and damned if you don't" situation for those who have STs But even the ST holders can make a positive message in the Carling Cup..

Wasn't he going to 'chin the ginger twat' the next time he sees him? Could make for entertaining radio

So who fancies a trip to Shirebrook tomorrow anyway?
-
100% agree.... Thankfully I'm not one of the poor sods who have paid for a season ticket, but I'm sure as hell avoiding anything to do with Sports Direct or Newcastle United's merchandising. What's more, I know a few people, not Newcastle United fans who are so disgusted with what Ashley is doing to the sport in general, that they're considering doing the same.

I've never heard any of Ashley, Llambias, Jiminez, Vetere or Wise ever speak while they've been at NUFC. All they've done is hidden behind press releases and statements. The only person from the Ashley regime who has shown any public face is Chris Mort. Oh yeah, and Kevin Keegan. We're a club that simply doesn't communicate to it's fanbase - totally wrong.
-
Dennis Wise is the man who was stripped of the Chelsea captaincy by Glenn Hoddle in 1994 for being sent off for foul and abusive language. All we'd done is sing a chorus of "he's a dwarf, a dwarf....." How about a chorus of that on Saturday? He's an odious little shit of whom, before he joined this club, I held in similar contempt to Graeme Souness before he became our manager. Worst appointment they could have ever brought about.
-
You see i'll support the eleven players on the pitch but I'd class Poyet in the same 'circle' as the rest of them. This isn't a football 'club' any more.
-
I'll not be happy until Mike Ashley relinquishes ownership of the club... he can appoint whoever the fuck he likes (Keegan included), it's not going to appease me until he is gone..
-
Getting his arse kicked to high heaven if the first set is anything to go by... lost an early break in the second too but got it straight back.
-
It's not about Keegan any more though is it? He's gone now, his time as manager of NUFC is consigned to history and anyone harbouring ideas that he'll be back as part of some multi-billion pound Indian takeover deal are frankly living in cloud-cuckoo land... It's not about aportioning blame, it's about rooting out any problems that are within the club and IMO, the problems are still very much there.

am i missing something here like?
-
Shortly after hearing the news of his dismissal.....
-
Now yer talking! Hire Wacky to do it and then blame Dennis Wise....
-
I have good reason to believe he's only 17...

Buy them abroad daft shite....

Damn it Stevie, he's got you beat..... you slipped on the keyboard! FFS You've only ever been a bigger club than us before 1965, and after 2003. Says all I need to know. Even by you ridiculous figures (which are a load of shite as there was a period in the 80s when we were a division above you but never mind) we've been a bigger club than you for 78 out of 116 years? That's 70% of the time!!! Destroying your own argument tbh

36 years ago man... You lost to the same lowly Hereford in the FA Cup only last year.... and you were playing at home! Aye, the same Hereford that are now in our league? What was your excuse? They weren't last year though Anyway, what happened to you lot in the FA Cup the year after we lost to Hereford? Lost to some two-bit second tier team IIRC. Yes? And it will go down in history as the biggest ever FA Cup final shock. Bollocks... it was no more of a shock than the finals of 1976, 1978, 1987 or 1988 Are you not going to comment on the Cardiff game BTW?

Premiership Leeds defeated by second division Cardiff City?? Very similar to the Newcastle-Hereford situation don't you think?
