Now if he was willing to be a defensive coach and not manager, then I'd have him at the club. Even if it was just working a couple of days a week with the back four.
-
I think Graham is a major factor in the way Woodgate developed in the early days at Leeds too.
-
For Monaco he was mainly on the wing as they played Anderson & Trezeguet up-front most of the time.
-
If it hadn't been for the fact he's not managed for a few years now I'd have been happy with him, but he's been away for far too long IMO. Did well at Arsenal, Leeds & Spurs.
-
Yes, yes it does. 106715 That's alright then. As long as it's not just some sort of anti-Souness thread again.
-
Is that Man U one still going? The one that was pretty good through the summer with someone Americanising the Premier League and Man U?
-
Does this mean Robson gets investigated after he paid over the odds for Bramble & Viana to two of his former clubs?
-
Great point. It's not as if he's 18-19.
-
Ramage was to blame for the first goal, Boumsong for the second tbh. 106010 Don't understand how the second was down to Boumsong. Emre gave the ball away then stood still doing nowt, Parker lunged in for a 10-90 ball in O'Shea's favour when if he'd held his ground he'd have had a better chance of tackling him...while it was Ramage who was outmuscled for the finish. Boumsong had to go with Saha leading up to the goal but didn't get there.
-
We must surely be the only club Crouch has scored against for all 3 of his Premiership clubs (Villa, Southampton & Liverpool).
-
I didn't think Boumsong did too badly. One or two dodgy moments, but did okay.
-
Robert: "We place zis footbol as a tribute to Souness' reign at Newcazol".
-
Since Robbie Elliott made his Newcastle debut as a sub in a 3-0 defeat at Boro. Hard to believe that 15 years on, he's still a squad member here and was torn apart by someone who was just 5 at the time.
-
But quite a few times he shouts it when the ball is in an area he should be coming out to collect it.
-
Next time Newcastle are on the TV and you can't get to the game, listen to how many times in a game you hear the words, "HEAD AWAY!" come from him when a corner or cross comes in. I counted 8 times today alone and noticed he does it a lot. I mean, what does he expect the defenders to try and do!
-
not only u...anyone has never witness something like this...and will not in the nxt century. cricket rocked today 105927 Yep. It'd be like Real Madrid beating Barcelona 8-7 in football or something like that.
-
That's where Ramage will always lack though. It's one thing, "not letting us down", it's another thing being a solid Premiership defender.
-
I'd take Arca for a couple of million. Would probably force Babayaro out of the team at full-back, and would be good cover for N'Zogbia on the wing.
-
Given 6 - Some good saves to keep the score down Ramage 3 - Shocking, needs to forget this one quickly Babayaro 4 - Didn't get to grips with Ronaldo Boumsong 6 - Just about held us together Elliott 5 - No shame from being ripped apart by Rooney Solano 5 - Poor (Dyer 5 - No real time to change the game) N'Zogbia 6 - One or two good moves but quiet (Luque N/A - Not on long enough) Parker 4 - Poorest game for Newcastle. Non-existant Emre 4 - See Parker Ameobi 3 - Hardly in it (Bowyer 5 - Gave us a bit of bite in midfield and a bit of drive) Shearer 4 - Kept in Wes Brown's back pocket all game
-
He was shite. Deserves criticised today alone, but he's not shit overnight. If Boumsong or Bramble had done what he did today, they would have.
-
Yeah, we'd be getting, "if this had happened in England he'd be sentenced to death, English clubs would be banned from European competition for 4384 years and fined 34 bizillion quid"...when really f*ck all would have happened...like it won't.
-
Where's Grimbo when you need him.
-
Were Ferdinand & Shearer not similar strikers?
-
Swap deal tbh.
