In this January transfer window, £20m is decent enough, that's two good players at least. But I'd hope that figure at least triples in the off-season otherwise I would be pretty fucking livid if it isn't with the squad atm.

Not a chance we'd sign Fred for £5M. 500k for that old bomb Carr is even more unrealistic. You never know what Gordon Strachan and Glenn Roeder could be thinking though. Very true. Wenger had always given an allowance to the players he brought in. Something to the tune of 6 months minimum. Tbf to Rozenhal, he's only just reached that target. He has some obvious attributes that he needs to work on, namely strength, whereas I view Ramage as incapable of plying his trade in the Premiership, no matter how much training he does.

I expect Sam to be able to bring in one or two players in January. All the top managers are reluctant to buy in January for obvious reasons and we should be no different. But come in June we should be buying players left right and centre. Players who are better than what we already have.

i doubt he's going to think that after 8 months in the job tbh and tbf i think it would be wrong if he did. that's the sort of criticism you should level at him if we're in this position after he's been in the job for for a couple of years or more and he's still hanging around like a bad smell.
