  1. We just offering him a 6 month deal then? Eh? We are only gonna be playing in CCC for 6 months arent we? Turn the page fuckhead Fuckhead? Jesus wept As far as I'm aware the Gods haven't yet granted us promotion back to the big league. Nothing is concrete. If signing MW somehow helps us get back to the top flight then what does the fact he is only of proven Championship standard matter? Quite a few people, me included, we happy to take a risk on Beckford because if his goals helped us get promoted then he's effectively paid off his own transfer fee. The same can be said of Williamson. Still too much of a risk? Well apparently the accepted bid was in the region of £1 million downwards. That's fuck all. There is also the fact that he'll add to our threadbare squad and he's probably the best we can realistically hope for in this league/with this owner. Now stop being a fucking thick cunt. My point is if he is only CCC standard and we are aiming for promotion then spending money on him is pointless no? It would make far more sense to bring him or davies in on loan and look for a higher standard once we are in the PL instead of being lumbered with more substandard players. Simples If he's of a standard capable of getting us out of this division then no, it isn't pointless. You're also making a huge assumption that Portsmouth would be happy to let him go on loan for six months which is very unlikely considering they need cold, hard cash and that Curtis Davies not only wants to come here but that the story about him being available isn't complete bollocks. You've spent far too long playing on Football Manager.

  4. Spoke to a few Watford fans and they're annoyed as they were apparently going back in for him. Quite highly rated at CCC level.
  5. I thought he never played because of Pompy's financial woes? He has some appearance clause written into his contract IIRC.
  6. What a complete load of bollocks! Nah he's right. Wear if for the match or wear it for playing a game of football but wearing one just as 'leisure wear' looks fucking ridiculous. I agree with that but thats not what he said is it? It's what I meant. Well, if you where one at the match you're still a bit of a prick. Playing football is fine though.
  7. Anyway it doesn't matter how tight or loose fitting they are, if you wear a replica football shirt and you've left school you're a fucking twat regardless.
  8. I prefer thicker stripes. I used to love this kit:
  9. Both very nice, although I'd go for the black Puma logo on the away kit. I'm also resigned to the fact we're never getting red lettering I also like the assumption we'll be back in the Premier League.
  10. He's spelled cunt wrong. Aye but he wouldn't have to act. He'd probably take it upon himself to put on impromptu performances of Kiss Me Kate at the Irish Centre during NUST meetings.
  11. Worryingly, in the up-coming NUST elections Mr Wraith will no doubt be pushing himself forward for the chair. Fucking hell
  12. Of course not but it wouldn't be his fault. Anyway, it works both ways. The majority of our fans had no problems with Keegan suing for stuff such as future loss of earnings this summer.
  13. He's already got enough money to last him several lifetimes. If he's hammering the final nail in Portsmouth's coffin then it's not right at all. I'm not one to stick up for overpaid players but if he's contractually obliged to said payment he's every right to go after it regardless of his current wealth. Should Pompy go under it's fuck all to do with Campbell and his paltry £1.7 million and everything to do with the £60+ million debt that silly sods such Al-Fahim, Al-Faraj, Redknapp, Storrie, Gaydamak etc. have ran up rendering the club effectively insolvent.
  14. If he's owed money then he's every right to go after it. He's probably been trying to sort this out for months prior but as they edge closer to administration legal action is his best bet.
  15. 'Matt Daniel-Baker, who stars in the comedy he co-wrote with Warren Llambias, has stressed despite the namesake their is no relation with current Newcastle chairman Derek Llambias.' Not what was said on 5 Live last night apparently.
  16. Is it bad I laughed when I found out his dad was called Bent?
  17. "The character Terry was inspired by Newcastle's central midfield from the 2008/9 season" And Alan Shearer in his last two seasons. "And Malcolm McDonald when he hit the bottle"
  18. Love it. He got two acting roles in the late 90's and fuck all since! Only reason he's got a part in this is because he co-wrote it. And because his Dad's mate and owner of the "Premiership giants" in the plot synopsis is allegedly a financial backer of said film.
  19. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1360829/ Yes, Warren is the son of Derek
  20. Factoid - First NUFC FA Cup hat trick since Paul Kitson.
  21. The majority of reviews I've seen say good, but not as good as the iPhone. Not that it particularly bothers me, like. I'm not J69
