TBH in that context alone FFS is pretty much getting what he deserves, that whole thing was a debacle in a personal context and in a proffesional one as well. What worries me more than GR's performance as manager is: 1. who on earth would come here and replace him? Martin O'neill wouldn't come in the summer because of the way Fat Freddie treated SBR, and o other top class managers were falling over themselves to come to Newcastle when we ended up with Souness and then Roeder. 2. Could ANY manager actually get much more out of the current squad (especially with the current injuires). Depressing as hell. Well Bobby Robson took a side heading for the Championship and with only one or two additions turned us around... so there are managers out there capable, unfortunately the thing that will prevent that happening again is sitting in throne, being advised by this guy
