Howe's Peace Loving Mags v Potter's Wand Waving Wankers

It wasn't theft, it was an homage. -
In Frank's 5 games their xG/xGA have been; xG xGA NEW 0.6 2.2 LEE 2.1 0.3 SOU 0.3 2.2 MCI 0.8 1.6 TOT 0.2 3.0 Leeds aside, that's terrrrrrrible.

They have a 538 page thread on relegation I like this post "There's no silver linings to be had. I'm beginning to think that people have no idea what demotion would do the club. Catastrophic is probably the only way to describe it. I for one cannot countenance the top tier of football without Everton being there."

I wouldn't say playing in front of those home fans is a plus, to be honest.

I'm ashamed to admit that despite my early bluster I was starting to lose faith in Big Joe.

List of acts playing tonight at the Cluny? -
Whatever Mackenzie Crook, I'd rather be bald than a bedsheet striper.

That has to be a Liverpool fan on the wind up, surely? Lampard being inexperienced and a bit shit is one thing, but for an Everton fan (with all their expectations) to want Steve Bruce? I call bullshit.

Bold predictions are fine, just ask Gemmil and me.

Certainly in the last ten years or so, our anger has usually been directed at the owner or the manager, players have often got a free ride because of it.

That's the old us, the new us has more money than Scrooge McDuck

The average pt total required to survive since 1995/96 is actually 36pts. The last 10 years, the average points tally needed for survival was 34. Admittedly dragged down by the piss poor 29pts required to survive last season, but the facts are clear; 36 pts will, in most PL seasons, keep you up.

There's apparently a few younger lads at Manchester United who're finding it hard to progress and looking to move out. Can't remember where I heard it, but someone said that a lot of the old Man Utd players have sent their sons to the Man City academy as not only is it a better run academy, but there's a better route to a first team football career through their City Group system.

Yeah Rashford is an improvement on Wilson and he's class. Nunez would be a monster, imo and if we're looking in the £50-60m range, I'd rather we gambled on Nunez than went for Rashford because he's foreign and therefore better. Lucas Paqueta would be a good signing in the 10 role (played with Bruno too). Comparable with Dani Olmo, Mount, Muller, Reus, Coman, etc.

My wife genuinely knows that girl. Pell isn't her maiden name.

He's just doing that tired old shit and choosing the contrarian position in lieu of having an actual personality.

Was it Ben Foster who said that the Everton fans were so toxic his team knew that if they put a bit of pressure on early doors they'd sharp turn on their own team. Aye it was;

Other Games 21/22: Talk about Actual Football
The Fish replied to Ayatollah Hermione's topic in Newcastle Forum
Worse. We were plucky underdogs playing cavalier football and just having a lovely old time. Man City are a trophy gobbling behemoth with few excuses for failing to win the league every fucking year. -
He'll be defending his dad on twittter soon enough, that'll take up most of his day. Instead of the coaching role at West Brom that he definitely got because of his coaching experience and ability.

Reminds me of when we warned Crystal Palace fans about Pardew. Honestly? I don't think we'd be arsed at all if the media wasn't involved. Like when McClaren was given the boot, we weren't on at Derby fans, telling them how shit he was or anything. Because McClaren wasn't being defended (and we weren't being criticised) by the press.

Ahhww Teams below us picking up points is inevitable, they're not going to go the rest of the season without a win or two. Our focus has to be getting as many points from our games as possible, and letting the teams below us handle the pressure of needing to win points from games they would usually write off. The positives for me are that we're playing effectively, our defence is improving significantly, and we've still got our best 3 players to come back from injury AND a £40m midfielder to be introduced to the league properly. I think we can look to games against all but the very best in the league as games where we can get points. Before the window closed you'd have looked at the next few fixtures and winced a bit, but now I'd say that there's points to be had from 5 of the next 6 games. I honestly think we only need 4 wins to be safe and we could get 3 of them in this run. -
The Saudis aren't interested man, Staveley is a tyre kicker Bid accepted The Premier League will never let the deal go through Takeover confirmed Well of course it's gone through, the Premier League is corrupt, but they'll never attract good players. Trippier, Guimaraes, Burn, Targett, Wood sign Well the good players have only come for the money, and the rest are crap Now we're on the "The Saudis will lose interest" plus "asterisk" and "blood money", stages of denial. Gets to the point where you have to ask; are these straws you grasp at helping, or breaking your back?

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
The Fish replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Pardew was a cunt. He threw players and fans under the bus. He came up with ridiculous excuses for his own short comings. He was a terrible manager who only escaped the holes he dug by virtue of having some unusually talented footballers foisted upon him. His streaks and winless runs were stuff of legend. Lets not re-write history and paint him as anything better that suspect stain in the history books of NUFC.- 10610 replies
