  1. I thought one of them had closed?
  2. .com and the Mag have rapidly gone down hill. The latter more because they've simply become a place to advertise shit by letting any tosspot contribute. I include myself in that.
  3. Linked with Fulham's Cairney and their fans are unimpressed with the prospect of him leaving.
  4. The replay is scheduled to take place at St. James' Park on Wednesday, 18th January with a 7.45pm kick-off.
  5. To be fair, I didn't read it with as much attention as I should.

Will you spend all night watching them out the corner of your eye?
  7. To be fair, it's more than likely the 9 defeats in 11 games that's got him the boot.
  8. Brentford has a pub on 3 of the corners of the ground, it's a "proper" old fashioned stadium and it's not likely we'll have an opportunity to face them again for a while.
  9. Yeah, I've no problem with plan A being pragmatic and focused upon defence, but I'm concerned there isn't a reliable plan B. We've an embarrassment of riches for this league, so a cavalier 4-4-2 when we're missing the hollywood balls from Shelvey should still be too much for the likes of Blackburn.
  10. To be honest, I think there's a degree of inflexibility to Rafa's approach that's costing us. He's pragmatic and meticulous and that's why we're having a good season, but I think he lacks the arrogance to play 2 up front away from home against weaker sides.
  11. Was desperate to get to this game, but it's just not going to happen.
  12. How much were they, just to compare?

  14. Scouts don't seem that impressed with him. Say's he'd be a good signing, bu they didn't get as excited as they did for Berge
  15. Started a new save and I'm going to try and develop more talent from the club. I'll likely buy one or two in the 1st summer because I already know what weaknesses Newcastle have.
  16. Plus it ignores the £30m profit we made in the previous window, as it's unlikely we're going to spend £63m!
  17. I claw at my eyes whenever I see that Ginger bellend on the teamsheet. Tiote is surely off in the window? I'm not a fan of playing Centre backs in midfield, it often seems to be a suggestion of Centre Backs who're more comfortable on the ball, to push them forward a bit. It was said of Colo and Bramble. I'd much rather just play an actual DM there.
  18. I guess, though mostly I just want Jack Colback away from the 1st team entirely.

  20. That's what Mitrovic is for. He's starting in the Birmingham game.
  21. The forum dies every year, and then is reborn from the ashes like an inbred gay bar from the flames.
  22. To be honest i'd be disappointed if Colback was the go-to partner for Shelvey after the January window shuts. He's fine, like you say, but he's surely not going to be part of the Premier League squad should we go up in May?
  23. They don't need him in the summer though, they need a striker now. Finishing a few places up the league is worth plenty, and Defoe is worth a few spots on his own if he keeps up his scoring return. Also in the summer there will be more players available and looking to move, so they wouldn't be chasing a 35yr old striker, it's now or never for this move. West Ham wouldn't screw him over and risk the move for the sake of 50k pw.
