  2. It's the twitter thing isn't it?
  3. Wonder what Goldberg from the Mighty Ducks is up to these days?
  4. They're going for Pearson aren't they? Seems an odd time to do it. What's the new man going to do? They can get 37pts, maximum. Unless they want the new man to see which players he wants shot of in the summer. I'd imagine the ones he wants to go will be the ones who're wanting to go anyway.
  5. He got pelters early on, but thanks to consistently decent performances and not being on twitter that much he's become much more respected by the fans.
  6. Think you've misunderstood Steve. There's been a conversation about which games are most likely to provide three points and those 4 are from teams around us. Don't think people are saying that we 100% will not win any games outside of those four, nor are they saying that we'll definitely win them. This is Newcastle; we could get 12pts from Man City, Spurs, Southampton and Liverpool, and lose to Norwich, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Swansea. It's just more likely that the team sitting 19th has a better chance of getting wins against clubs who're also dogshit. Also, I don't think it's just about desire, Colback had plenty of desire in the derby and was by far the worst player.
  7. 1 of the four winnable games. Big worry is left back. Hoping for more returning players. Another short sentence goes here.
  8. Don't think it was the things out of his hand that was the problem.
  9. Was Johnson at sunderland when Keane was manager?

  11. I say we see if we can get Kazenga Lualua on an emergency loan, he's not been playing for Brighton recently so they might be willing to part with CT's erstwhile favourite, temporarily.
  12. Having more options is rarely a bad thing for a good manager. Obertan is rapid and away from home that can be great on the break, or late in games. That said, Sissoko, Wijnaldum & Townsend are all rapid and can contribute more to the team than old Squidward.
  13. Elliott is still paying for some fairly poor displays early on in his Newcastle career. I don't think he's better than Krul, and I certainly don't think he's better than Krul can become with the right coaching. Have to remember they're both not that old in 'keeping terms (29 & 27 respectively).
