  1. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/mehdi-abeid-wanted-top-european-11143789 I'd have him back, for sure.
  2. Aye it was Forest and Sheff Wed. Hate Woan, but don't mind them so much I guess because they haven't been relevant for so long? 84 is a bit early for me, I'd only have been 3
  3. So our 2nd highest goal scorer has no qualities beside being big and mental? By the way, Mitrovic has a comparable shot accuracy to Sergio Aguero (50%-52%) Having an opinion is only worthwhile if it's based on something The reason you want to move on is because you've been comprehensively tucked in I'm not sure of the value of the smiley faces at the end of sentences, but it seems to be your thing, so in an effort to make you comfortable I'll continue
  4. The food is good once in a while, but the music is way too loud and service is generally poor. Honest Burger, Dirty Burger, Hache Can't remember the last time I paid over £5 for a pint. Mind, I don't usually go for lagers, it's all guest ales and IPAs
  5. Why? I don't mind them myself, I think they've done the right thing in appointing a legacy manager, rather than a quick fix, get us promoted, kind of manager.
  6. But you're not qualified to have an opinion on the possible performances of a young lad in the English Championship. You haven't the information on which to base your opinion. That is the point. And given that's what everybody is telling you, I'd say it's a valid point. and you are backtracking, at first it was you "have no confidence in him", now it's "nobody knows how he'll do".
  7. It's like I'm there.
  8. Why those two specifically?
  9. Spectacularly missing the point old bean. You admit you don't watch the championship, so how could you have any idea if Mitrovic would be good down there or not? As an aside, you're back tracking now. You've repeatedly questioned his ability to hit the back of the net and questioned where the goals will come from. You're stating you've seen nothing that gives you confidence in Mitrovic. He's scored more than everyone else at the club bar Wijnaldum (and he's actually scored away from home) and even suggested that scoring goals with his head is somehow less valuable than with his feet. I wouldn't tell you that one metal detector was any better or worse at detecting in sand or grass because I don't spend my time finding the answer to that question. I do spend my time watching a lot of football and can tell you that Mitrovic has all the qualities needed to be a top goal scorer in the Championship. You're stating you don't think he'll be one of the best strikers in the Championship, despite not watching the Championship. re: the last bit, all that proves is that an average player can do ok in a well-drilled, confident side. But that was proven by David May, Andy O'Brien and many others.
  10. Norwich supporting mate asked me last night if I was bothered about Middlesbrough likely leapfrogging us. Got us talking about rivals, he said he'd be pissed off if Colchester bypassed them because they're the 3rd East Anglian team, I said I couldn't really give a shit about any local team other than sunderland. Wish the Darlington and Hartlepool fans well, and all that. I'd take more from wins against Stevenage, Villa, any Pardew side, any Allardyce side and Wolves than I would Middlesbrough. Is that normal? Or no? Which teams would you consider us to have a rivalry with?
  11. So you; Don't watch the Championship Don't watch other Premier League sides Do put your faith in players who've not proven they're at the required standard. See why people think you talk out of your arse? If I wanted to know which Metal Detector would best suit my needs, I'd ask someone who knew what they were talking about, I wouldn't rely on the opinion of someone who doesn't spend their time using a metal detector. If I wanted to know which striker would perform well in the Championship, I'd ask someone who knew what they were talking about, not someone who doesn't. Abel Hernandez (who you've probably never heard of) played 25 times for Hull in 14/15 and scored 4 times in his first season in the Premier League. He's on 16 for the season so far in the Championship.
  12. I used to enjoy watching him play; he was direct, exciting, just like his cousin. But Zinga shouldn't have started and wanting a young player to get more game time doesn't mean I am sure he should be starting, I wanted to get a better look at him and found late-in-the-game substitutions to generally be wastes of time. Marveaux has had one good game that I can remember. It's this weird disorder of yours where you state the unknown will be better than the known. Finally, you can't have a pop at alex for being a WUM when you're making ridiculous claims with nothing to support it and ignoring the replies that tuck you the fuck in, so you can stow that horseshit.
  13. Only if he was supplied by Shane Ferguson. Who has 12 assists to his name, 7 of those coming in League One...
  14. Especially in the context of the standard of teammates and manager. CT doesn't get to talk to anyone about spotting potential: Kazenga Lualua Shane Ferguson Sylvain Marveaux
  15. He doesn't watch the Premier league mate, you honestly think he's going to tune in for Burnley v Leeds on Saturday?
  16. There's no guarantee, of course there isn't but given they've both shown they can score goals in a bad Premier League side that carves out few chances, I'd fancy them to outscore Peter Lovenkrands and Shola Ame-fucking-obi in the Championship. To say that Shelvey and Townsend are bottom 2 players shows you're just on the fucking wind up as well. Mitrovic has 8 goals. More than Rooney and Benteke, as many as Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial. Would they all also struggle to score in the Championship? Fuck me
  17. Totally lost interest in Walking Dead now. I get that it's a bleak and traumatic storyline but I stopped caring about any of them ages ago. I also got annoyed at their stupid decisions. Zombie apocalypses would be easy as pie to survive, but people in movies/tv shows are idiots.
  18. Last time we went down http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/5385837/Newcastle-United-Who-will-stay-and-who-will-leave-St-James-Park-following-relegation.html
  19. You're talking out your arse again. This currrent side lack commitment, that's for sure. Just like the shit that went down 08/09. Once shorn of the players who don't have the commitment our team will be plenty strong enough for the Championship. Just like the team that cruised it last time were. If we keep Mitrovic and Perez we'll have two of the best strikers in the division. If we keep Shelvey and Townsend we'll have two mid-table Premier League attack minded players. Mbemba is the 16/17 version of 09/10 Coloccini if he stays. Add a few more bodies and we're very strong for that division.
