That’s harsh on Wiky...

What do you expect from someone who could easily afford fitting trousers that do not make him look like a tramp...
-
Same as with the Staveley bid where the club claimed that no bid was tabled but Dimon Bird said that he personally saw three formal bids.

The attempts to keep Rafa were obviously half-hearted with not even attempting to listen to his demands and not even attempting to negotiate with him but using their tried tactics of juztalking to the counterpart. That the club isn’t interested in keeping Rafa and didn’t share is philosophy has always been clear since Charlatanley tried to explain to the press that state of the art training facilities are superfluous. As well as for Rafa signing a new contract so soon after his old one running out: ”planning“ ...if only the club knew how to do it.

You might have mentioned this about 6m times before...

Any news from the mag at work?

Quelle surprise. it was to be expected. The preposition of only selling the club to only sell to someone „to take the club forward“ from someone neglecting to invest in the club and publicly trying to convince supporters that it is damaging to compete is an insult. Ever since the first actions after Keegan‘s resignation and the multitude attempts of selling the club I have said it is down to the owner. Ashley is doing things out of spite as long as they do not impact himself. Only when that is kicking in He will sell the club.

He’ll probably give an interview to the chronicle first claiming that a huge amount of qualified coaches are as bad as decent cup runs and sufficient training facilities.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
Isegrim replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
Woohoo, this certainly means they pave the way for Messi to sign for us with Mbappe after the takeover by the Shreks is finalised. -
I hope they appoint Pardew. If the club doesn’t get sold the atmosphere will be rightfully toxic and in the unlikely scenario that the club does get sold I hope the first action would be to sack him at the inaugural press conference.

He is good at offering things he won’t have to pay out, like paying for an unwanted end of season trip...

Yes, but leaving this football club aside for a moment, how was Rome?
-
It’s the same way he fucked up multiple deals while in charge of the club. I am so happy he learned from the mistakes as he suggested and finally got the hang of this football malarkey as his fellow numpty suggested.

I am still holding onto the hope that one of the girls from Monkey Fist‘s wet dreams turns up at my doorstep. It could happen.
-
I pity those who still think that not only a takeover will happen but think it is imminent and Rafa will then sign a new contract.
-
Only a total boycott will do. Ashley will hold on to the club for as long as he it is successful by his own standards. As long as he gets away with his terrible decisions every now and then and achieves to let protests fade out the club will remain what it is. Not a football club but a gigantic advertising tool for Sports Direct.
