Nice from him presenting the facts confirming him to be a cunt. QED

Maybe. On the other hand they could have been more sensible and appoint someone more decent and especially not likely to further alienate fans... or they could have matched the ambition of the old manager and cared about the club and its fans... But that would have been as likely as you not posting nonsense tbh.

Good to see the moral standards from all those ministers who can't remember what they said two months ago about suspending parliament.
-
Very nice moral standards from some of those who turned up to give Ashley their money to jeer Perez.

It's all about the FA Cup anyway...

Just as it is written tbh,

I am actually really shocked now.

Good that nufc.cock sorted out the live commentary 5 minutes after kick off...

And probably without bananas in november.

He really would have loved to give it a go only for all those first team players suddenly being injured with career threatening injuries...

A banana republic without those pesky EU regulations about the shape of bananas.

Judging by this the appointment of Bruce was a clever thing. I wonder if any other manager who wasn’t as much of a friend with the journalists covering football in the North East plus Alan Shearer would be able to deflect as much of the criticism for the appointment and treatment of Benitez and the fans.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

It’s on par with his explanations why progressing in cup competitions is bad for a football team and similar nonsensical claims in the past. I have said it a couple of times but the fact that Charnley was at the club before Ashley took over and knows what it used to be makes him a serious traitor in my eyes.

As long as there are these numpties around they will always get away with everything and will be able to successfully run the club just as it pleases them.
-
Don’t worry he’ll eventually get the hang of this football lark...

They didn’t care because it was in the second tier and therefore rather good considering what happened in the year before. A drop in attendances in the top flight in the upcoming weeks would be something totally different.
-
A couple of poor results will probably result in attendances dropping further and to make a statement and increase public pressure I don’t think it is important if those staying away are occasional math day goers or season ticket holders. If results are being positive the protests will likely fade out though ... again ...
