  1. You actually are a complete cock. Not even funny neither.
  2. Front 6 are all French Ba and Erdinc arent. Seneglese and Turkish fella.
  3. The deal looks close for both barnetta and Erdinc and both would be great signings. Another striker and a defender after that and we are done for the summer imo.
  4. Are you on about Lomana? Fuck sake he fucking played 30 minutes of football for us you twat. Fuck off We arent likely to be getting a super offer for him off Brighton so if he WAS good enough why would we be selling him then kevin? Fuck off. RE: Armchair Penis...I only said Jose is likely to go from defence and apart from Perch wouldnt consider any of the others as dead wood. Read man. Oi, quit sneaking in with 'Armchair Penis' quips, I served my time - unlike Claire Raynor... Is the wood dead now in the armchair? Il get my coat

  6. Agreed. Im really suprised we havent really been linked with sturridge like. If we get Taarabt for 6-7mil its a good deal but like OzToonFan said its getting quite hard to see where any new midfielders would fit in. Its looking like the club are finding it hard to source out ANY decent strikers who are viable options. Looking back now Gervinho and Gameiro were out of our league.
  7. So the club has said Ranger, Smith and Best can go, Lua Lua looks likely to join Brighton, Perch is looking for a new club, who else would you be looking to shift out as well as they arent really good enough to even be a squad player? Personally i would keep best and let Lovenkrands go. I think if offers came in for Guthrie and Ryan Taylor i'd let them go also, only thing with that though is we would be down on numbers when really expanding the squad is of utmost importance. Both could stay and provide backup however. Apart from those mentioned i dont think anyone else needs moving on. Ranger Smith Best Lovenkrands LuaLua Perch They are the group of players who dont look good enough and who i would consider dead wood. Raylor Shola Guthrie Williamson Could go for a decent offer but would be happy for them to stay and cover. Enrique Barton Jonas Coloccini Simpson Have all been linked with moves away but i only really see Jose going and possibly Barton.
  8. Just becasue i love it so much. The excitement is starting to kick in now! What do you think of that line up tecato?
  9. Seen a few sources today claiming that arsenal want jose for 8mil while we are holding out for 10mil. Gael Clichy looks set to leave for around the same figure. Now...normally i'd say we have no chance of Clichy but with our new influx of french players could we do a swap deal? Do you think he would be interested?
  10. ---Krul--- Simpson---Taylor---Coloccini---NEW Cabaye-----Tiote Jonas----------Ben Arfa---------Marveaux ---Ba--- This is our new look side, a few new faces and a whole new shape to the side. 3 of the 4 that made up our best back four in years along with a new LB replacing Enrique. A grit and guile partnership of Cabaye and Tiote which i expect to be the heartbeat of how we are going to play. Two pacey and tricky wingers, Jonas moved back onto his more comfortable right hand side where i expect his delivery to be better tenfold. Primed for his best season yet. Marveaux providng balance on the left and by the sounds of things has a great delivery. Ben Arfa in the number 10 role which im looking forward to more than anything. His ability on the ball whether it be running at defenders or letting rip from 25 yards or clever runs in alongside the front man will be massive to us next season. Ba upfront...His movement and anticipation is what got him 7 in 12 last season and will be a great weapon for us alongside his ariel presence (scored 4 of those 7 with his head) pace and strength. That there looks a very VERY quick, fluid and attack minded line up and i seriously cant wait to see us in pre-season and more importantly on the 1st game of the season.
  11. This shows how little you know about anything really. Most people that have spent any time with Barton have nothing but good things to say about him, its well documented about how much time he spends with the juniors and reserve players. Goes to reserve games (including many an away one) and spends time helping out the younger lads. No doubt if you managed to have a chat with Shane "future of NUFC" Ferguson he'd probably tell you all about how Barton has been a role model to him and brought on his game. Anyone can make assumptions based on mistakes a person has made, and to be fair Bartons made more than many but it doesnt make him a cunt of a man. Just as in Nolan, the loss of Barton will have far wider implications than just on field. Spot on like, he is a sound lad, very articulate and witty actually...he loves the game too. Aye he has his moments but dont we all? I'd be more gutted if he went than Nolans departure tbh.
  12. And you believe everything this paper is saying? I'll bet he really said 10% of what's in that article. They're not new quotes...from a while back iirc.

    Demba Ba

Good signing...not great but a GOOD signing. Gives us an option up front. My boy was right then...he told me 3 year deal on 35k a week. Just Naylor and Erdinc to be confirmed over the weekend now then. Apparently we a seeing Erdinc as a wide right kinda player and NOT an out and out striker? Hmm Bids come in for Barton and or Jonas maybe?
  14. Wouldnt say gutted like. Obviously they dont think he's good enough. Personally like Ranger id of had them both on a season long loan then make a decision at the end of the new season.
  15. Confident of making a profit more like. Well aye theres that like. Signed for what 2mil? 6 goals in th PL and generally looking busy, i think we could get 3-4 mil from someone like Birmingham which i think have shown in interest. I honestly see this as the club genuinly wantin to better our options within the squad.

    Demba Ba

35k a week 3 year deal i've been told. Confirmed this afternoon apparently.
  17. To be honest id rather keep him and get rid of Lovenkrands and Ranger. Best and Shola would be decent backups imo. That said...if we get 3-4mil for him, which we could do then i'd be happy. The fact this has come out could mean the club are close and are very confident of replacements. Turkish mate of mine reckons the Erdinc deal could be done over the weekend and that he is a very good player and could come good in the PL. Ba and N.Taylor to be confirmed either today or over the weekend too.
  18. So a shortlist of...Turan, Barnetta, Matuidi, Gardner, N,Zogbia, Honda, Huntelaar, Erdinc and Ba is a pretty good shortlist like. Not quite sure why we are in are matuidi with him being a tiote kinda player......... Turan, Barnetta, Erdinc would be three quality signings. Honda would be decent as asians do tend to do well here. Huntelaar i would love but im not sure if we'd even go for him.
  19. Barton quotes from today... Barton was more diplomatic in front of the cameras, but voiced his hope that the Hammers deal would fall through. He said: "Obviously, it would be a great disappointment to lose Kev. He's a great pal and I think he has done fantastically for the football club. But this is the game were are in, unfortunately. Sometimes it is a little bit like ships in the night. "Me and Kevin will remain great friends beyond the boundaries of football for the rest of our lives, most probably, just with the experiences we have shared at the football club. Hopefully, the move breaks down, but if it doesn't, you have got to believe in the process of the football club, and no one player is bigger than the football club." Asked if he felt Newcastle are moving in the right direction under Ashley, managing director Derek Llambias and Pardew, Barton said: "Time will be the telling of that, really. It's easy for me to sit here and say, 'I don't agree with this, I don't agree with that', but they could be doing the best moves ever and only in a year's time or 18 months' time will we know that."
  20. And you're OK with this? I'm going to report your post for that word you've used there on the end of your post. I am ok with it yes. I'l tell you why...Because its what needs to happen for us to build and be stronger for it in time. To stop us getting into the same mess we were left in by the last board. Its not like we are selling and then buying in shit...Cabaye shows that. We will remain competitive but will also look to trim the wage bill further...maximise profit on sales and making us a stronger more viable option for a prospective buyer. In the meantime it puts us in good stead for the new financial rulings which are coming into place shortly.
  21. We need some who's gonna take a shot from 25 yards out. Seriously, that's what we're missing? I think you need a couple of weeks off this forum, you're clearly losing the plot. Do you play football? Do you watch our games? How many goals did we score from efforts outside the box? How many players a willing to have a go and even when they do get them on target? Of course its something we need.....One of many things actually.
  22. Younger stock = Higher resale value. We are being geared for a sale whilst trying to remain competitive and doing deals which are good for the clubs finances. Simples.
  23. Spot on fella. No great shakes losing them really. If they really wanted to stay they would sign a contract that worked for both us and them rather than just themselves. Enrique has been a total cock about it all. Jonas is a model professional iyam.
  24. Ok so we are going to sell Nolan, Barton, Jose and Jonas and not bother bringing anyone in at all.......Better? Fuck off man seriously.
