-
They already did.

Ha you really are an idiot. Liverepool arent doing it wrong just mugs for paying that kind of money for players who dont justify it. We are doing it right...AT THE MOMENT....i dont want us blowing huge figures on players who arent worth it. Theres been too many... Boumsong, Luque, Owen, Viana etc...Under which regime too LM? And WHEN did i say we should be doing what sunderland are doing? Fuck off man. The three players they are going for WILL improve their side...wouldnt improve ours. Simples.

which transfer strategy do you prefer ? Aim high or settle for inferiority ? See TP, what you don't understand is this - aiming high and making the odd signing who is overpriced or doesn't make the standard you hope, is the mirror image of buying cut price bargains and finding the odd great spot [but selling him on again] like Tiotte. Which transfer strategy is the best, gives you the best performance on the pitch befitting a club the size of NUFC ? NOBODY, NOBODY makes a successful signing and gets value for money from EVERY signing. This bloke "Deano" talks about being "deluded" ..... Deano = Tiotes Nutz....Thats Tiote NOT Tiotte you waffeling pleb. Who will finish higher in the league next season, us or Liverpool ? Liverpool - We have only been out the CC for a year.....Call yourself realistic? Your an idiot. I don't know why I'm wasting my time. I see another numpty has joined this forum, and posted in this thread. Relegation struggle here we come, but we are doing things better than Liverpool lads...... so sad, you don't know whether to laugh or cry. Laughable insanity My white text was not in vain !! TP....Lets face it the old man wont go to specsavers. He's an absolute fuckin mongoloid. Another skunkers fool with something to hide ie using a different username ? Edit. ah. Tiottes Nutz. It figures. I'm right lad, and you know it [or you will soon]. What the fuck are you on? Your obsessed man. I was Tiotes Nutz on here you fuckin moron. Im not on ANY other forums. Tiotte? Haha man you really are special....i actually think you could be DEADMANS great grandad.

It gets more insane by the minute !!!!! but, according to you and people like you, NUFC are doing it right and Liverpool are getting it all wrong, right ? Aye! I dont want us to be spending 55mil on two players who arent actually worth half of that. Nevermind 80k a week EACH. When some call geordie delusional...you are why. you don't want to try and match Liverpool then When some people laugh at Geordies for accepting inferiority and being a selling club.....you are why. See this is where we (Myself, CT and TP) differ from you and the "clique".... We are positive in our future yet realistic in our ability, chances and intentions. There is no way at all we SHOULD be blowing that kind of money on fees and wages at the moment. Progressive, sustainable improvement until we are VERY close to the top 6....THEN and ONLY THEN do we even consider moves in the transfer market of that size. Even then only if we CAN afford it and it is for a player who is actually worth the outlay. Carroll and Henderson are not.

This is my concern, that it has dragged on. Like i've said before its a worry that he isnt wanting to make a solid decision about us and seems like they are waiting for other clubs to enter the race. I'd be delighted if we got him but it does feel a little luque-esq in the sense that we arent his 1st choice.
-
Who's new and who could get the chop? New: Fulham - Martin Jol - I think he will do a very good job for them imo. Chelsea - Hiddink is the man for the job but will it happen? Villa - Who will get the job? Hughes? In Danger: Man City - Mancini if he doesnt mount a SERIOUS title challenge. Sunderland - Bruce if the scum are in trouble at christmas. Blackburn - Keen if in trouble at christmas.

This is what im hoping for. Having already solid friendships with Tiote and Cabaye can only stregnthen our chances. Cabaye swapping CL football to play for us may encourage Gervinho to do so too. I dont think Arsenal have even made a bid?
-
and scaringly, this is the sort of "value for money" we might end up with yet with the Carroll cash [or part of] I actyually think that would be a good move for them. For THEM i say. Gibson looks like a good player with a bit of quality. Oshea and Brown are experienced but not much left in the tank.
-
Certainly means we stand a chance but how big of a chance we just dont know. We dont know because its not sure how serious Arsenal, Liverpool and Citeh are. He could go to any of those clubs and get CL football and a chance and winning the league but may not play every game. They may not even of made a bid? Liverpool signing Henderson would suggest they arent in the hunt for him.
-
He looks a decent player but nowhere near worth 20mil. Like its been said already thats the premium to pay for young english talent though. Ngog going the other way? He's absolute shite.
-
Well theyd definitely not be coming for the money! Those days are gone.
-
What i dont get is why negotiations and decision making takes so long. He is a class act but if it takes him this long to decide whether to come to us or not then do we really want him here? We want players who have the quality AND would jump at the chance to play for us. Buy into the club.

For all Nolan and Barton are important to the team and the club as a whole i actually think it is correct what the club are doing by insisting on not giving them one last big contract. Nolan has a 2 year contract and id be happy to let him go at the end of it. Id be offering Barton a years extension but nothing more. Enrique is the most important contractual situation clearly...Arent we supposed to be getting an answer from him on Friday?
-
press conference on friday Is there? How do you know?
-
Another rumoured NUFC target gone. Let's hope he doesn't adjust. Good signing for Swansea...He mite adapt but if he doesnt and Swansea go back down which i expect, he will do a good job for them back in CC. Never good enough for us imo.
-
That'll be just the 54 since the Prem League came into being then, aye that's "very, very few" On the wider context of your precious book. The two things you've thrown up out of it so far have been debunked, what's next from this mighty tome of stupidity??? I can't wait for the laugh.

Whats the point in posting a 2 year old article?

What is our current wage bill at the moment compaired to other clubs expecting to finish 12th-7th?? Im all for cutting the wage bill, streamlining the clubs finances but ONLY if it doesnt weaken out squad. The likes of Barton 60k, Smith 60k, Nolan 40k, S.Taylor 40k, Coloccini, 60k, Gutierrez 50k and Enrique 40k are pretty much our top earners. Tiote and Ben Arfa are probably on compairable wages too of about 50k each. Then you have Simpson 25k, Williamson 20k, R.Taylor 25k, Guthrie, 20k, Gosling 20k, Shola 30k, Best 20k, Lovenkrands 20k...... Of that bunch id only really be looking letting Smith and Lovenkrands go freeing up about 80k a week, 4.2mil per year. Thats wages for two players of much better quality.

He is the guy we should of got when CH was sacked. Will do a good job there like, good to see him back in the PL. He's a personality.
-
Agreed. That much is crystal clear but he is only going to do that by playing in the 1st team. I've went from thinking you had a good balanced opinion on things newcastle but now starting to realise all you do is talk absolute shit. Airey has promise and potential but has he done ANYTHING in the PL? No. Has Krul? Yes. And in europe fwiw.

Wouldnt go as far as saying the entertainers are back...we have shown similarities to that side in the sense of quite a few high scoring wins, topsy tervy draws and some good attacking football but we are a long way from being as settled a side and nowhere near as flabouyont or dominant as we were then. However, signs ARE good. We have a solid base and spine to the team and if we get that together and add quality in key areas (which sounds promising) we CAN build next season, become a little more dominant and flambouyant whilst learning to hold our nerve and see out games late on. Certainly looking good. ---Krul--- Simpson---S.Taylor---Coloccini---Enrique Barton---Cabaye---Tiote--Jonas ---Ben Arfa--- ---Ameobi--- Presuming we can keep hold of both Barton and Enrique who both are very influencial in how we play the game and add two quality strikers to the squad, one of which replacing Shola in the side, then we have a very solid team with an ever growing understanding of each other and plenty of goal scoring potential with a stealy and calm defensive spine to the team. Cover out wide and another RB would be crucial for us to get closer to being "the entertainers" again.
