No Tom LM asked me what would prove me right and i was talkin about the bet i have on with someone on here that we will have a net spend of more than 10mil. However, i do agree that we SHOULD be spending all of that 35mil AND 15-20 mil of FMA's own money. I dont think that will happen though.

Agreed with the ones you bolded however if we get can Guthrie to sign a contract similar to his current one he would be worth retaining. I did think that myself but id imagine now with the Cabaye signing and IF we do keep Barton and Nolan then he will be well down the pecking order. Barton, Nolan, Tiote, Cabaye, Gosling all vying for 2 CM spots.....Then Smith 1mil and Guthrie 3 mil who i would let go if reasonable bids come in.

We all know Barton and Jose have a year left and young Fergie has just signed a new 5 years deal. my guess is they wont be selling their top top (bale, modric) players but more their second rate players ( pavlichenko). i dont see them becoming alot weaker. how are they financially? Stories already in the press tonight that Fergies after Modric. Wouldnt be suprised if they went for Bale as well. Natural replacement for Giggs. I dont agree with you that Spurs are finished like mate. I think saying thats a bit foolish like. Whats to say that the money they'd get for Bale (35mil) and Modric (25mil) that we wont go and bring in you cheap talented players from the continent like ourselves. We are a good distance behind spurs like. This is great news for so many reasons. It is showing the kind of ilk we are looking at bringing in. Top quality. I also think it can only do us a big helping turn in gettin Gervinho who was a team mate and Gameiro as well. Man if we start the summer with Cabaye, Gervinho and Gamerio i would be fuckin delighted. And the noises are we arent too far away from it happening. Agreed terms with Gervinho apparently and just waiting on his decision between two clubs. Valencia cant come up with the money for Gamerio. Id still go get Demba Ba and Seb Larsson on free's too.

Talkin to my dad today and he has been told by a mate who apparently has links with the club that Anil Ambani has contacted FMA and wants to negotiate a deal! Apparently he wanted to buy the club when we went down but FMA was wanting around 250mil, a figure in which Ambani was only willing to pay IF we got promoted and secured PL status this season. I know its all friend of a friend and been mentioned before but my dads not one for talkin shit so fingers crossed. Could hear something within 2 weeks. I hope this is true. Infact i pray its true.
