Lookin at it 8th is a REAL possibility today. We need Bolton to lose and Stoke and Fulham to lose or draw with us pickin up a win. Bolton are at home to Citeh who will be wanting to secure 3rd. Citeh to win. Stoke are home to Wigan who are fighting for their lives. Draw. Fulham are at home to Arsenal who will be pushing for 3rd. Arsenal Win. Seeing us in 8th at 6 tonight will be a very VERY nice feeling in our first season back. Would/will be delighted.

So this deal is close....can we expect it done in the next week? And another within a fortnight? We definitely be a good start to the summer......so long as they have a bit quality about them.

Watching the Celtic game and after seeing the hoops play a fair bit this season when i was in glasgow i'd definitely look at a bid for Commons and Hooper.

Huge game in my opinion. Chance to finish 8th in our 1st season back, chance to finish above the mackems, chance to send the fans home happy and positive for next season and more importantly a chance to earn almost 5mil more for the club which could go into the transfer kitty. Im pretty sure all the above are motivating factors that have been drilled into the lads and i fully expect us to finish the season in style. 3 or 4-0.

What comments specifically? My take on what he said was that he wanted a move to a bigger club and that wouldn't be possible from Newcastle where he wasn't being played often and when he was it was not in his preferred position. All completely legitimate reasons for moving. Chuck Joe Kinnear on top of that and I'd be looking for any way out. That wigan were a bigger club.

Quality player. Shit attitude and i cant see how people could forgive him for his comments when he left. Would cost well over what he's worth anyway.
