  1. England getting absolutely fucked off Ireland in the Rugby 24-8. They were supposed to win this as well.
  2. That's the most offensive thing anyones said to me this year.
  3. Reminds me of the Charity Shield this for some reason. Signed for toon and he's caald Alan Shearer Heeeeeeey Alan Shearer
  4. Fucking hell that takes me back. Summer of 1996. The best summer ever.
  5. Aal we'll need to be honest. There's some depressing cunts on here like. I just can't listen to miserable people. We're shite, aye, some of you are acting shocked, I've been consistent in my apraisal of Pardew, he's a cunt, nothing today altered how I feel about him, nor would a 0-4 win. These are nervy times but it's not like 08/09 we have players who are a lot more committed, and I still say given the injured players we have to come back like HBA, the future could be a lot rosier with or without fatty. Losing 5-1 to Bolton was as bad and we bounced back the next two home games with good shows against Chelsea and Liverpool. I want the season to end now though, what it'll probably come down to are the three home games with Wolves, Birmingham and WBA. Get yasels oot on the lash and forget about the game ye miserable cunts, I know it fucks weekends up, but you just have to put it out your mind, after years of practise it's do-able. Great minds...

  7. Streams fucked, this isnt a 3-0 like we were the better team first half, 8 shots to 2, but woeful defending, Anyone know the Gateshead Darlo score?
  8. Has anyone got a really good tributary please, that I can make full screen.
  9. Me first bet looks doon, Tottenham won't fuckin shoot, and Leeds are 1-0 doon.
  10. Three centre halfs FFS. It could work ok in Colo is in front of the back four.
  11. Wouldn't have taken three of them like mate. Ipswich should win, but lost 3-0 at home midweek, and I never bet against teams who have just sacked their manager like Scunny. I know fuck all about the Bundesliga midtable, and Bradford are shite
  12. Who's that with? Bet 365? Man Utd HT FT is excellent. Might do another one QPR/Man Utd HT FT pretty solid 3/1 that like. Doncaster lost 6-0 at home recently too.
  13. Works for accumulators too, but bet £20 ffs, you might as well, you get it matched.
  14. Leon Best not in the squad today.
  15. People like Dein, Sugar, Ellis and Hall made it easy though Stevie - they used the momentum of the money and the growth to change the game to generate more money - a classic feedback loop. I honestly hope it all goes tits up but I can't really see it. The saddest thing about the singing section was that it had to be even thought of in the first place. Aye. Even in 96 it was a great atmosphere in the ground you know. I sat in the Leazes lower for years from when the stand went up and most of the time it was mint, the Gallowgate used to make a din too. At Newcastle it started going shite when Dalglish took over, I remember a game we lost at home to Forest in the Cup (Woan scored 2) and it was THE worst atmosphere ever, but that's getting away from the point, it got even worse when the SOS people were punted out the Milburn, and again were victims of greed. Football is eating itself to death. My prediction is 20 years time Man Utd and Arsenal getting 50,000 Newcastle and Tottenham getting 35,000 your Liverpool, Everton's, Villa's 20,000, because the pricing will be too high, and telly will be a more attractive option with the advent of 3D. Nothing in my mind can compete with the atmosphere we used to give off around 94-97 when the Gallowgate corners were completed and before they bothered to consider further expansion. The crescendo immediately before kick off still gives goose bumps thinking about it now. The demand was obviously there to expand and 36,000 seats didn't match the club's ambition but in doing so we traded off atmosphere. The sad endictment of the Sky era is that it has destroyed the idea of the travelling football fan. Look back to the clip in the 80s where we filled the entire Anfield Road end at Liverpool. The best atmospheres I can recall when we had terraces was when we opened up the entire Leazes end to the away fans.. and they filled it! To easy and cost effective now for the travelling fan to stay at home and watch it on TV. They should be doing all they can to encourage more away support as that's what creates the banter. The game(s) against the Mackems where they weren't allowed was a sanitised disaster IMO. The best pre-match was against Man Utd when we lost 0-1. You could see the air balloon from miles away above the ground, and I remember walking up the road behind the East Stand at 715, and all you could hear from the ground was "NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWCAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLL" half an hour before the game this. You don't see pre-match atmosphere anywhere now. Used to be mint in the 80's.
  16. Stan James match your first bet up to £25. Stick it on QPR, Tottenham double, you can't go wrong nearly 3/1. Today 1 Tottenham @ 4/6 2 Leeds @ 11/8 3 Man Utd @ 2/5 4 Arsenal @ 10/11 5 QPR @ 10/11 Multiple Bets 1 x 12.64 5 Folds Stake: 5.00 Potential Winnings: 242.66 1 Exeter @ 1/1 2 Hearts @ 4/7 3 Southampton @ 4/9 4 Notts County @ 8/11 5 Everton @ 1/1 6 Newcastle (+1) @ 4/6 Multiple Bets 1 x 5.00 6 Folds Stake: 5.00 Potential Winnings: 125.69

  18. Was looking for something and came across this thread. Nearly 3 years ago it is, and am sorry to say slowly but surely it has got even worse. At Newcastle dismantling the singing corner in favour of families touches on what Danny said about the Paxton Lane stand kicking people out unless they could bring a kid the next season. The £42 Liverpool are charging us, is a tiny example of the marketing drive to get the working class out of football. I firmly believe Murdoch is to blame for everything about what's happened.
  19. Didn't get in till after 3am 7 hours later..... Rocky 4 music in me ipod, losing those calories. 100%er or what? First target is 14st10 by April 1st.
  20. Sunderland, Tottenham, Liverpool, Wolves, Everton, Rangers, Boro, Leeds and Stoke all have one thing in common. They're all fuckin cunts. Fear for us today, Williamson will struggle against their neanderthal players and tactics, some cunt needs to get some Guinness doon the skinny fucka, football wise we're much better than them, but we need to fight, if we don't we'll lose and I sadly think we will, and ye naa me, I'd predict us to win at the Nou Camp some weeks.
