  1. Hard to believe she's Welsh, and Katherine Jenkins for that matter.
  2. I didn't get contacts till I was 17, and it was like I'd being given my sight back. The thing I mind about me geps, I went on some A Level geography field trip in the Lake District, summik Tarn, a can't mind where it was, we walked for about 10 mile, and they needed windscreen wipers - really steamed up and it was always the case when I ever did any exercise in them. I moan and my eyes are -1.5 got it really must be white stick terrirory at -7.0 like you and J69. Give contacts a try, honestly it'll give you a right boost for about a month, you think fuck me I can see.
  3. You can't wear geps your whole life though, especially when contacts are so cheap. Must be uncomfortable running in them. Well I don't really remember running without them on so I've never really thought about it. I'll probably get round to looking into it at some point, but it's not really where my money needs to go at the moment so I'll put it off for a bit. I pay £27 for 3 months contacts 5a bottle of solution. So work that out, £11 a month, 33p a day, it's nowt for the pleasure of seeing without walking the street looking like Jack Duckworth (me not yee). The money is neither here nor there.

  5. Completely different set of circumstances all of them. You have to understand how well they can speak English, nearer RP than me that's for certain, the other shop which is further away they're both Indian. Bloke is a top fella apart from the fact he wears a Barcelona top and supports Liverpool, he's got a beer belly and drinks, they speak in English the pair of them, because they understand what is ignorant and what isn't. They even row in English in the shop, while English is their second language. See that's the difference between your Indian and Pakistani if you ask me, and the Indians would say the same. I had an Indian mate at Uni that hated Pakistanis. With venom. I didn't have a clue at the hatred between the 2 at the time. Proper racist. They're both largely speaking the same race though, so I don't know how it's racism. Bigotry maybe? GENERALLY speaking Indians have a much higher level of decency than Pakistani's, I don't know if religion or race even comes in to it. The Indians who have come here embrace Britain a lot better than Pakistani's, cue HF and his wealth disparities pish. More like English and French than English versus Scots. And the underlying difference is unfortunately religion. Didn't we make Pakistan and Bangladesh?

Well it's like saying us and Scots are separate race.....mmmm aye maybe your mate had a point.

  9. Did anyone really notice or care about the Muslim population of the UK until the gulf war/July the Seventh? I can only remember a few people saying things like why can't the West Indian immigrants be more like the Asians as the former were seen as more of a problem. I guess that';s now reversed which is obviously a shame but I think you let the terrorism issue cloud your opinion. You're old enough to remember how much distrust and dislike there was for the Irish in the IRA days in the 70s especially but you must realise that's pretty much gone now. Of course being anti-religion I don't like some of the pandering as you call it but feel the same way about christian pandering - in fact its now hard to see who followed who on that one as you can't really blame people for saying "well they get special treatment so why shouldn't we". The solution is to stop special treatment for everyone. I also think you're completely wrong about people being afraid to speak up - the Mail (I know, sorry) might tell you you can't say anything but the truth is it's perfectly possible to speak out. There's too many people who only say they can't because they're trying to make people think they can't when they can. its been growing for a long time before july 7th and the Gulf War !!! and still growing, faster and faster. People are afraid to speak up, and the "law" isn't helping....where is that thread on that Dutch bloke and the yank who were refused entry into the UK to voice their opinions on Islam ? I know you said you personally thought they should be allowed their freedom of speech [correct of course] but the point is the authorities denied it to them for fear of offending Islam. Doesn't that tell you something ? Tells me you're a frightened old man, peering at the world over the top of your tabloid, believing every piece of crap they throw at you. Give me one example where you've personally been affected by a real life Muslim. I've been bumped off the cunts in the local offie loads of times, and it's only when you get home you realise they've ripped you. Plus they talk in Pakistani when you're in the shop, fucks me right off, it's ignorance, they could be saying "look at this fat cunt, drinking again" or anything. Well Bal couldn't say that to be fair cos he's fatter than me, but it's still ignorance. And the roles could be reversed when you are on holiday (especially with a Geordie accent ). Whats the answer? We arent allowed to leave our countries. They LIVE in this country, and the two in question for 30 years speaking better English than most of us. Do you think it's ignorant to speak in a foreign language in a British shop, when you're serving British people, and there's only three of you in the shop? I do. Fuckin height of ignorance. As for the Spain example, they'd have a GDP like Chad if we didn't go there so they can pipe down. We're just holiday makers there anyway, and I'm sure people who settle in Costa del Sol, have a go at the language anyway. If someone offered you a basic of 300,000k a year to work in a (eg) Dubai, would you learn and only speak the local language ? So you think it's acceptable to speak in a different language than English, when you can speak it perfectly well, and there's a customer in front of you in your shop who can't speak Bengazi or whatever shitey language it is they converse in? Is that acceptable? It's not even a question of racism, it's I G N O R A N T. They could be saying "aye we could dee with some more coke's they're selling this week", but why not say it in English. They have Al Jazeera TV blaring too under the counter with all these Asian musicals wwwwwweeeeeeeeeewwwwww eeehhh ehehhehhe woowowowowowooooo fuckin hell what a great culture.
  10. I was thinking that as well. PaulR9 is him, he's been on heatonlass95's profile this morning as well, am in the wrong profession I reckon. You're like the Continental Op you like. He's here, He's there, He's every feckin where Paully Wynn, Paully Wynn

  13. I've considered it, but I'd look and feel really weird without glasses as I've had them since I was 7. Plus the cost puts me off a bit - or at least it used to, not sure what sort of charge there is these days. £600 an eye. I've considered it for the last few years, but they still don't know what the risk is in later life. £1200 would pay for itself though considering I must pay £200+ a year for lenses and solutions. Apparently you can smell your eye burning during the op though.

  16. You have faith or you don't. As with most things in life people look for alternative views, but this is a canny story, and you have to bare in mind it's from a yank.
  17. I know three scams of getting in to SJP for fuck all. I usually do it for Cup games, as trampy as it sounds. 100% success rate, but if you look like a bamp it would be a lot harder to be fair.
  18. The Eastern Europeans who got drafted in to the Allies team in Escape to Victory, had more weight on them than yee man. You must be 9st. 14st actually. Never in the wor-ld. You must've piled the beef on since them pics abroad.
  19. That's one of the worst things I've heard from a normal kid. Hope you get better soon. Nee where near as bad as that like, but in my early 20's if I'd go on three or four days benders, I'd feel like I was gonna die. I remember waking up in this flat, got a taxi home after 4 days solid on the drink, and I couldn't control my neck in the taxi, me heed was like hanging out the open window, and all I could see was tiny little what were like tadpoles across my vision. Wasn't an ailment like but it was my body saying looking these 3 and 4 benders are nee good, and the worst thing about them was they used to fuck me mentally to the point I was paranoid and depressed till the hangover subsided.
  20. He's just disappeared off the face of the earth since then. He's not even posted on his site since then. You can't blame me cos I didn't even post on here that week cos I was doon London. Someone must've said something that tipped him over the edge. Haven't heard nee reports of Pitcher and Piano, Sea, and Jimmyz being flooded so he hasn't jumped in the Tyne yet anyway.
  21. Google Chrome loyalist me like. Quickest one I've ever seen, looks nice too.
  22. I think the way people's eyes are we could probably dee with a braile option on here. I mean I thought I was blind till I see J69's crack. (-7.0) that's like a black labrador at the traffic lights sort of thing that.
  23. I get rid of the spams like. Carpet adverts from Wyoming, America (see I put Wyoming, America because they say London, England - fuckin London, England like people don't know the worlds most important city is in England) I get rid of straight away. If I establish they're normal people I'm too soft and I just add them but I'm gonna start being a bit more ruthless. The ones who tweet every five minutes oh dear, I think why are you on my list take this lass who added me.... I mean ye naa. I must have added ten people like that cos of people ff'ing me, and ye just think oh dear. One interesting tweet will dee, but it never comes.
