Worst night of violence I've ever seen, every fucka was fighting, like literally everyone, our normal fans got some right hidings, but so did some of their's. Seeing as though this thread is about Ireland. I've only been to Ireland once, well Belfast, some of you won't class it as Ireland but I do. I know this sounds mental, but when I got off the ferry in Belfast and set foot on Irish soil, it felt familiar as if I was going home, very, very strange feeling to say I was 26 then first time I'd been and it felt so normal. I can't even put it in to words, it's the only place I've ever been apart from Newcastle that I really had a sense of belonging, I don't believe in reincarnation or owt and I know I sound like Parky here, but there's something in me that knew these were my roots and part of me had been there before.
