1. OK Its not going to be easy but have faith pray if necercerry. We have the abillity to beat them, we can beat them, if we are losing dont give up hope untill the final whistle. Think positive COMEON LADS WE CAN DO IT.
2. What a difference a few months make. Thousands came to see him sign on "I`M GOING TO BRING YOU GOALS" he said so 7 goals from 10 appearances equals just over 2 million a goal or 1.5 million an appearance not forgetting the wages he`s had while he has been injured. HE OWES US BIG TIME. If he does go i reckon he should PAY US big bucks in compensation along with that Scottish guy who used to be the Manager.
3. ALL of the twats on MOTD suck up to Chelski, Arsenall and Manure. Now is the time to prove them all wrong. Even if we dont win i am sure given the new regime we will put in a decent performance. We are still within a shout of a European spot and i am sure next season we will be back where we belong. And if we win i say management vacancies filled.
4. or is it because he is a top class stirker who will be good where ever he goes i liked him he scared defences with his pace and just scored thats his job and he does it well sure he was a gob shite but id rather have a gobshite than a usless geordie *cough cough AMEOBI cough cough* 104884 Totally agree on both points
5. Well I can't be bothered to search the archives, but plenty of people suddenly believed Bellamy was shit. When he was at Celtic, and before a firm offer was made, FS was quoted as saying whether Bellamy played for us again was down to the manager. That's how it should be anarl. FS won't veto it and it should have nowt to do with Shearer. If it has, then as I say, the sooner he fĂșcks off the better. 103405 Two disasters have befallen our club in recent times One was the appointment of Souness the other was the departure of Bellamy. I`m tempted to say the third was signing Michael Owen. He hasn`t lived up to expectations yet has he? talk about injury prone. Plus he`s on record as saying he`s unhappy at Newcastle mind you that was with Shiteness as manager so perhaps its understandable. On the other hand Bellamy gave 100% untill Shiteness arrived youve only got to look back at our matches when he played and his current form even got him a mention on MOTD. Cant quitte understand the anti Shearer camp Yes ok he may have a bit too much influence but if there is anyone who has truly given all to our club then it has to be Alan Shearer and Shay Given. There have got to be many clubs who would give thier right arms for a keeper of Given`s class while Shearer along with Glenn Roeder has turned this club around. We certainly could do with Bellamy back but doubtless it would be at a price a lot higher than we let him go for.
6. Shiteness`s first few games were with the team he inherited from SBR before he started selling the best ones. Roeder and Shearers first few games have been without the best ones we have left, in other words the ones Shiteness winged he needed to win a game. When we get Michael Owen, Steven Taylor and Milner back we could even become a credible force now we have a management team who know what they are doing.
7. Well Glenn Roeder and Alan Shearer have got us 10 points out of 12 true its not against top placed opposition but an achievement none the less. It also seems that Roeder can keep some of the miscreants in line WITHOUT shouting and screaming at them. Also its worthy of note that we are achieving results without some of our best players. I seem to recall a previous Manager who`s name i cant recall claiming that injuries were to blame for the bad run we were going through at the time. Even jug ears Linekar on Match of the Day was saying how well we are doing. Isnt there any way this coaching badge situation can be sorted out so that Roeder at least can take on the job full time. Shearer has stated he wants a 2 year break after the end of the season. Surely Glenn Roeder has staked his claim when he can achieve results like he has without the likes of Michael Owen. If we get Owen back for the quarter final we could even be in with a decent chance of beating Chelski after all weve done it not too long ago.
8. ???????/ We normally agree but i hardly think selling Bellamy, Aaron Hughes, Andy O Brian and letting Milner out on loan improved the team, as for great signings Owen (when hes fit) and Scott Parker excepted what great signings?.
9. He should never have gone to Villa in the first place. The fact that he did is yet more proof that the Manager we had at the time hadn`t a clue what a decent player is.
10. I did say a final word found it the other day just thought it would make a few people laugh. As you say time to move on to bigger and better things a good start lets keep it up.
11. As a final word on our late lamented Manager i give you this nugget taken from the Sunday Times Illustrated History of Football. 1997 and the great man was using his talents at Southampton when he quit after the Chairman refused to give him Money to buy new players (obviosly a wise move) Souness claimed that the Chairman had no idea of the needs of a Premiership cub stating "The people who are now taking the decisions are non footballing people and both Lawrie Mcmennemy and myself found it difficult to take on board thier attitude ( Im shocked ).These people dont know much about football let alone Professional football" Of course we now know they werent the only ones.
12. [Any club that lets the clueless cunt darken their door will deserve all the shit that's coming there way. 93212 ANYBODY WHO OFFERS HIM A JOB IS IN URGENT NEED OF PHSYCHIATRIC HELP. To see that idiot badmouthing our club makes my blood boil. To think we have got to pay him compensation HE SHOULD BE COMPENSATING US. To see him winging that we will improve now we have players coming back to fitness beggars belief. NO CLUELESS WE WILL IMPROVE BECAUSE WE NOW HAVE MANAGEMENT TEAM WHO CAN RUN A FOOTBALL CLUB. GOODBYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE.
13. On what is after all a momentous day in oour club`s history we shold sit back in a few moments of quiet reflection YEE HA, HOORAY, FANDABIDOSY, HALLILULAH HALLILULAH,GOOD RIDDANCE TO THE USELESS TOSSPOT SCOTISH WANKER AND HIS TEAM OF USELESS TOSSPOT HANGERS ON. AT LAST, THANK GOD FOR THAT. YES THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FREDDY, AT LAST YOUVE SEEN THE LIGHT. He has been the greatest disaster this or any other club has ever known. He has taken a great club from the Europen championship to near obliteration selling most of our best players for peanuts bought in a load of rubbish that make a girls 2nd 11 look good. Best of luck to Glenn Roeder and Alan Shearer on a serious note clearing up after this mess is the equivalant of mopping up after the Tsunami. Still as the song says things can only get better.
14. If Mr Souness wishes to apply we should not stand in his way. A great loss to our club i know, but in the interest of our national team ( who lets face it havent won anything for the last 200 years anyway) we should make the ultimate sacrifice.
15. Presumably thats to to replace Boomsong, Babarayo, Emre, Luque, Moore and Dire, Yes I know he didnt buy the last one but he is the one he proclaimed to be the future of Newcastle United. Now lets hope the future of Graeme Souness is a trip to the job centre.
16. Gives you an idea of how the rest of the season is going to go doesnt it. Still theres allways the possibillity of beating Leeds again. Congratulations though to Alan Shearer on equalling Jackie Milburn`s league and cup record.
17. It must be the spirit of Christmas for a few seconds i was feeling sorry for him. Then I remembered who was it signed the likes of Boomsong, Babarayo, Luque, Emre and Craig who. Yes we are plagued by injury. Yes we are having to rely on inferior players. But who sold most of our best players and bought this lot in at over inflated prices. Need i say more?
18. The transfer window is open and not suprisingly clueless wants to spend more of the clubs i.e OUR money on bringing in new players. The injury list is beginning to make interesting reading as it is the decent players who are getting injured [ Dire and Craig Who? excepted of couse } while the useless largely bought in by Souness ones who are only interested in thier wagepacket go largely unscathed. Not suprising when they do all they can to avoid anything resembling taking part in the game. So who are we going to end up with this time? Incidentally isnt it time the club came clean on just what is the mystery ailment Dire is suffering from, is he likely to play for us again or what? Simarly with Craig Moore who is less visible than a Mackem supporter.
19. After spending 30 million we should be able to field a decent squad even allowing for injury. And yet the results this season have proved we are a one man club relying on Michael Owen to get us out of the shit. Now he is out probably for most of the rest of the season and we are well and truly in it. Our only hope is that there are three teams worse than us the Mackems are doomed so probably are Birmingham but the other relegation spot is up for grabs. Doubtless Souness will winge that we are in the situation we are in due to injury. Fact is he has largely WASTED money bringinging in a bunch of tossers who are incapable of beating a non league side. The only decent player we have left is Shearer who is worn out. Somebody please help
20. Sacking Sir Bobby was a knee jerk reaction. We drew the first game due to a disputed goal then lost one and drew the third. Things fell apart against the Villa so it wasnt the best of starts but it was sack first ask questions later. As some of you have said we were in no position to bring in a decent replacement were turned down by a few then ended up with Souness the rest as they say is History. If there is not a drastic improvement by the end of January then he should go with Shearer replacing him as player manager. Not everybody`s choice i know but look at the rest of the season this way. 1 Any chance of a decent finish is out the window 2 Barring disaster we are safe from relegation. 3 If its true that Shearer is upsetting things then he would allmost certainly do so for any replacement as doubtless he will remain at the club in some capacity. That situation would not be fair to any one and that includes Souness. Nobody can deny that Shearer has given the club great service and that he has the best interests of the club at heart. Therefore now is as good a time as any to give him a go at being in charge as things cannot get much worse and if he did screw up damage would be limited. Plus we get rid of Souness with a reasonably safe captain at the helm while we look for a credible replacement if neccercerry. Then of course he just might turn things around. Remember when Michael Owen signed Shearer did most of the bargaining with Souness in the background AND Owen was only going to sign for 1 year then suddenly changed his mind. Given his friendship with Shearer did F.S get him to sign on the dotted line on the condition that Shearer would take over at the end of the season ???????????????????.
21. The BBC hate all teams outside the M25 Shearer is a hard player but just look at some of the knocks he has taken over the years. i remember the Chelsea game a couple of seasons ago when Robert Huth stamped on his back and not sure if he even got a yellow card. As to Wenger winging all Managers are guilty of that after they have lost a game none more than you know who after all he`s had plenty of practice. So our roller coaster season continues i must say after last weeks shambles against Villa i didnt hold out much hope for yesterday. Souey gets to fight another day still not sure if he is the man for the job or capable of getting us above mid table still if he does all well and good.
22. Seems that Shay Given is in the process of negotiating a new contract and has dropped the heaviest hint yet that he may leave. He states that he is happy here and would like to remain here for the rest of his career. BUT he is unhappy with the current position of the club and at the prospect that he could finish his career without winning a trophy. Nobody`s irreplaceable but he would be a hard act to follow if/ when he leaves.
23. Totally Totally Totally agree and lets not forget some other great quotes from the Scotish Bufoon On the team when he was appointed "This is a great team i can work with" Thats before he sold half of them for peanuts to be replaced by total crap {Scott Parker and Michael Owen when not injured excepted.} AND not forgetting the backroom staff which he sacked to be replace by his tosser mates from Blackburn On Kieron Dyer " He is is the future of Newcastle United" LIKE I SAID AGREE AGREE AGREE
24. Heard a rumour that Sam Allardice is getting itchy feet now he would be a good choice. But then can anyone be worse than Shiteness we should kick him off the Wear bridge. ( it cant be the Tyne bridge we wouldnt want the water polluted }
