Tell you what, I was sat just up from him taking that. Was like taking one at the Gallowgate for a visiting team. Done immensely well to keep calm, ignore their fans and slot that away.

Just got back. Was down there yesterday and had tickets in one of the lounges, so sat with their lot in the comfy seats. They're still unbelievably bitter about Shearer, thats one thing. I as saying to a few "just let it go man, fuck sake". They still have a huge dislike for us and it stems from when we were fighting at the top under KK along with the whole Shearer thing. As a club, they are on a different planet to us, but by fuck they have no class. As to the game, I thought the first half was pretty even. I was disappointed at HBA running up to Rooney when the come together of him and Colo was little or nothing. All HBA managed to do was get himself booked and give their fans and players a lift. Still, decent first half. Second half went a bit mental. For one, I know all thats being said about the pen, but very little seems to be said about the free kick that lead to their opener. At the time I didnt think it a foul not that I could see like. But even on Motd I thought it was very soft. There were numerous small fouls that we should have had our way and didnt and then the penalty which even at the time I said wasnt. Shocking decision like but that was the game all the way through. Bad decisions on both sides. I said to the lad I was with I thought we would lose a player. Had too many on a yellow in what was becoming a heated game. Of those on a yellow I thought HBA would be the one to go and was surprised, but had little issue with the card for Jonas. But down to ten men with 10m to go, I said its gonna be tough letting ManU come at you for that long and I fully expected them to win it then. I cant believe how well we kept them out. Fantastic though nervy to watch. Best part of the whole game was kept for the end though. When they got the "winner" there was a lass behind us who really shoved it in our face. She shoved us and ruffled hair laughing etc while those around her laughed. tell you what, when we realised it wasnt given. I hadnt even seen the flag or knew why at that point. Well we were killing ourselves. We done the same thing back to the lass and were pissing ourselves laughing. Those around us didnt seem to see the funny side apart from, to be fair, the lasses lad who took it in good humour. Most of the fans around us started the usual "dirty cheating Geordies" and "we always get a shit ref", stunning really all things considered. But turned into a cracking game.

Was shell shocked about this, absolutely. At first I heard I just thought it was his health and was really surprised. Then on hearing it was suicide, thats just sad. Really feel for his family and close friends. RIP.

Had the pleasure of sitting next to him at a charity dinner last night. Loosing his marbles a bit but what a cracking bloke. Had me in stitches at times but it was interesting when getting him talking about his past etc. Said as bairns he used to support NUFC and bobby SAFC. His uncle would take Bobby to see SAFC and Jack refused to go. Said he never stepped into Roker Park until he played for Leeds. Then had a sudden outburst "Ah Fucking hate Sunderland". Also spoke highly of Jackie Milburn. Saying he used to take him to the game and back home again (at NUFC). Reckoned at best he was earning £380 a week. He's getting on like, mid 70's now and the old grey matter is fading. I asked him about what he thought of the current ownership but all I got fro him was "hard to knock them when we are where we are". From that we somehow got on to diving or going down easy in relation to the pen against City. Said he used to always tell his players to do that. Never aim to run past the player, just close enough to them and go down. Says he still gets wrang off his lass for having the odd tab and goes to the bottom of his garden and sneaks one behind some of the bushes there He still gets to matches, mostly Leeds, Boro, NUFC and SAFC. Goes to the SAFC games whenever Bobby is up here playing them with Man Utd. Oh and still plays golf, once a year all the '66 players get together for a game. Sound bloke.

Aye the metro ones aint great and expensive. I usually use photobox and snap mad for this kinda thing. Snap mad for a 16x16 is usually around £23 iirc.

I buy a few of these and am just about to get more done. I'd be happy to let him try one and if its ok can get him to do another few.

Havent seen enough of Santon to judge. Id like to see how he faired at RB as well. But Raylor has been ok, steady. Were it not for his goals, you'd ask what the fuss was about. But even then its not like he is banging them in 1 in 3. When we come up against a decent side they will exploit it. Having watched the City game you can imagine all teams saying get down that side. He is good enough to cope with some of those with the help of Jonas but thats at the expense if him going forward. Nee wonder he always looks fucked. But against better sides, that will be our downfall. Not sure whether Man Utd or Chelsea is the best game to introduce Santon, but I doubt he'll do any worse than Taylor who will be exploited.

I can say. Say what? whether we will build on it or not. What do you think ? Thing is, Toonpack gave Mike Ashley until 1st September just past to "judge" his intentions, and despite wittering on since and effectively denying it, he hoped that the money for Carroll would be spent and ambition would be shown. Despite being told by myself and others that it would not happen. Now, with that comment, he is confirming he still holds out hope the owner will show ambition. Maybe he will now give Mike Ashley until September 1st 2017, I asked him this question recently and he didn't reply. Hopefully he will see my comment this time. What do I think? I think we'll finish the season in 7th. We'll all be looking at it and discussing whether we will fall back and be caught by Villa/QPR or whoever or whether we can reach 6th by adding 2-3 players. Then well be taken aback by the sale of 2 key players and we'll bring in replacements who "could" be as good. But in real terms we'll stay still and others will close the gap again. Thats pretty much what I think will happen. We'll see £15M of clever spending needed to inch forward but we'll be told how the club has to run off its own gas etc. For now, I'll take 7th and be happy.

Was on against last night. Still mostly doing the Companions stuff but then decided to nick a horse I found at a bandit camp and head up to see the Greybeards. I missed their camp and ended up down the other side of the mountain. Went in the inn and sold stuff etc then came back out and the horse had fucked off, twat Now ran back up the hill and got my arse ripped in half by a Snow Yeti thing. Went back up again and saved it there. I've picked up smithing but not really got anywhere yet. Do people mine much to get ore? I dont seem to have found much, few bits of iron. I was saving for a house, Im L7 and have about 2K though I might buy a horse now and if I level smithing that would cost a bit as well if I buy mats. Mainly sticking skills into Heavy Armour & 1H Weapons.

I think we'll finish 7th this season at least, but don't support the notion that we're nailed on to be 7th for years to come. Afterall, who predicted we'd be 4th in mid November? Who knows what will happen next year let alone beyond, especially with uncertainty hanging over key players.

Im currently confident we will finish at worst 7th. Not sure we have the staying power to keep the likes of Arsenal or Liverpool & Chelsea off our tails but I dont see anyone else springing up from lower than those and I can't see us going on such a bad streak to drop that far* * On the assumption we dont sell key players and fail to bring anyone in in Jan while having key injuries.
