Not good like. Perch faired "ok" today to be fair to him, but he's no replacement for a long spell. I've honestly nee idea what he'll do with colo and Taylor out. but, we knew this was coming being so thin on the ground.

Nee shame at all in the result. We deserved something as well tbf. Nee luck today when maybe we needed a little. Then playing last 5 with 10 men. Im more concerned about fitness of Colo and Taylor than the result such is our thin squad. We've come along way though to be disappointed at losing this against Chelsea. Least now we've played someone eh.

HT. Chelsea strong going forward with Mata and Sturridge linking well. Us pushing up seemingly leaving us exposed. Lovemkrands not really helping Raylor as Jonas might. Then we should have been a man up, no idea how thats not a red like. Unless he thinks Cech would get the ball before Ba. Cracking save from the pen by Krul. but losing Colo is a huge blow and jus shows how weak our squad is. I've never liked Perch but if he is going to prove me wrong now is his chance. Cabaye more to blame for their goal though Perch seemed to make it too easy for the header. Gonna be a tough second half. Krul and Ba top men first half.

Thing is I cant see Ellis throwing a stack of cash at him given what Bruce just spent. That said as we have shown you can spend wisely and still get some decent deals. I read £15M somewhere and thats bound to be a guess, but if he does get that then what they really need is a decent forward and that should be enough to stop them going down and then rebuild for next year.
