Apparently Ekitike was not carded for kicking the ball away. Konate complaining about the yellow where he assaulted Gordon -

It just feels like that because he's getting the calls right against a 'big' club which is fucking unusual. -

So many fouls from them, if this were us commentary would be making a huge thing of it. Frustrated Salah leading with the forearm and according to commentary "not much in that". -

Cunning from Ekitike, holding Trippier's shirt. -

Ref doing ok thus far. -
"We need a reliable striker with Premier League experience" Internet: "Would you accept injured with no interest in the Premier League? Louise Taylor: "and.. and.. another issue is one side is going to lose face because um Isak is going to lose face if he has to come back to the team and the owners are going to lose face if they sell him for less than a stratospheric fee, but one of those things is going to have to happen. In the short term is there a sense of mediation, that you could bring an independent sort of figure in to try to resolve this difficult situation?" "I don't see it as black and white as that, we will support Alex in every way possible. We can't do that at the moment, the situation doesn't allow us to, but there will come a time when we can have conversations with him and focus back on the football." Louise Taylor: "And finally..." Media coordinator: Louise sorry, that's enough thank you.

Jackson is not dog shit, but at the quoted figures he's overpriced and I agree about both buying their cast-offs. The audacity of the cunts to openly replace him and still expect that they can peddle him for a substantial profit. The worst part is that they very likely will succeed.
-
I'd suggest those wages are bollocks. It doesn't make sense for him to be on such a high wage - it was 'verified' as that once upon time and has been recorded as gospel ever since. He was loaned from Villa where he wasn't getting game time and there would have been no reason for him to be on such high wages there having signed in 2019 when they were just promoted. Whatever the case we have loads of cover at left back so it's good for us both that he's playing elsewhere.
-
He did such a great job for us in his first half season then after injury never looked any good.
-
True, but someone on a long contract we'd likely have to overpay even more for them. We NEED to sign a forward before Isak even comes into the picture. If he goes then we need to sign two, and if he stays it wouldn't hurt to sign another anyway!

Should absolutely not be in for Strand Larsen, not that I think he is bad but we'd 100% have to overpay for him which would have repercussions for years to come. No reason why Wolves could or should give him up on the cheap with ages to run on his contract. Perhaps this interest is just feigned to put some pressure back on Brentford.

Exact same poster just with the G and the E in great coloured.

Retribution for this is allowed however only if it is afforded the same punishment as this was - none.

That sort of thinking will only hurt us, you're asking for foul play against players who have nothing to do with the underhanded tactics employed by the club they play for. Foul play that would see us penalised and negatively impacted beyond this game. It also just reinforces the idea that they're operating at a different level to us. These are the teams we are aiming to compete with on the pitch, so playing at home there's no reason why we shouldn't be thinking about winning fairly especially with this extra motivation.
-
The only way I want to fuck them up is by defeating them.
-
I hope we keep our noses clean, hard but fair. It will make us appear small time if we take our frustrations out on Liverpool's players. As much as I don't like many of them they've nought to do with the whole Isak affair. I dare say the ref will be waiting for the opportunity to penalise us for the charged atmosphere so we need Howe to have the same talk to Bruno that worked when he went on that lengthy clean run to avoid suspension.
-
But who's replacing Bruno?
