I dare say we'd be looking to sell him. He did look lively in preseason, and all players mature differently but it would take a massive injury crisis for him to get any meaningful time on the pitch.
-
For elite clubs it's a lot more than that. More like 18-20, and if you're Chelsea 18-200.
-
Great addition, bringing size, youth and athleticism. Always have to see a defender play for us across several full games to determine their quality and then hope that he becomes a mainstay.
-
As if most players would know this level of operations of other clubs. Their agents will feed them whatever bullshit gets them (the agent) the best outcome and that will pretty much exclusively be finance driven. In addition we've done nothing wrong, we signed a player and expect them to honour their contract just as a player who signed would expect the club to honour the contract.
-
Most probably already believed that he wouldn't be here for 26/27 as two years remaining on original contract is often where you cash is for the best value. It was this year that I was always bullish about him remaining as why would you sell such an important player with 3 years on their contract.
-
He'll be 28 when he leaves.
-
Was going to suggest you change the a for a u but it might bring some undesirable attention.
-
And then sub him straight back off.
-
We already look at best misguided on the transfer front if we were to accept a bid like that we'd be a laughing stock.
-
Snapped in training would not be a good look.
-
Maaate perfect opportunity for one of those half and half shirts.

Dodged a bullet. "Steve Barnes was driving a car, but not just any car, it was the premium model with the bucket seats and the mahogany trim. When it came to automobiles there was only one thing he appreciated more than speed and that was somewhere to keep tissues so you could wipe the crisp crumbs off your fingers before driving to prevent damaging the leather wrapped steering wheel."

Including Schär with them is unfair. IMO it's Bruno and Gordon who are the worst, they can both be incredibly petulant and lose their heads. Joelinton battles hard constantly but doesn't IMO play dirty (plenty of other teams supporters will disagree with that the soft cunts who've probably never played). Schär also not dirty at all unless you count being dead sexy as a crime.

There's a point where the cost of signing a player needs to be balanced against our needs for the upcoming season and that point has passed, especially with the air of uncertainty hanging over Isak and the potential signing of Wissa. If we have to pay above what we deem a player is worth to get them signed then it's better than the alternative of potentially wasting an entire season and one where we've managed to get into the Champions League. We MUST use this opportunity to increase our profile and that means making big moves in the market and getting big results on the pitch.

How is too logical and professional to be driven by spite like that. If he's not sold Howe will reintegrate him with the team, before having to do similar again in January depending on the table at that point in time.
-
Congratulations on the slightly hotter wife.
-
Pros: - Fits the desired physical/athletic profile - Is the right age - Has good experience in the PL Cons: - Has a history of poor discipline - Is not a reliable finisher - Appears to be a bit of a cunt - Costs too much I don't want to say this, but there are worse options out there. Chelsea don't need help in generating funds so we're not significantly helping them out.
-
It's not confirmed either way, I thought it may have been that the player group is not yet ready for Isak to return. Howe would like him to be back but it's not time yet, he has to do his time before being allowed to train together. If Isak is refusing to train what a turbo cunt move that is with 3 years to run on a contract.

And just cuntish to be negative from the onset about a signed player. Ramsdale certainly offers something different to Pope. Whilst I don't think he's worth the amount being touted I do think he's a quality keeper and at an age where he could give us plenty of years of service if it works out.
-
Do you think that might be, you know, because he isn't playing regularly? I would like to see a bit more attacking intent from him, but I think this will come with confidence.
