If you're red carded before the game though, you can be replaced my a substitute, so maybe it's not technically a 'sending off'. As for the OP, what a numpty.

More like Stiva was just quoting from Father Ted.

Another reason is that the true brutality of a lot of Stalin's regime (gulags, NKVD files etc) didn't start coming out until the Khrushchev 'de-Stalinsation' speech in 1958, when Hitler had already a headstart to build up a bad reputation! I'd really recommend the books Rob W mentioned, reading about Stalin as a schoolboy is very strange, notice how all dictators seem to have had abusive dads!

'The fact that he has been revealed as a website administrator puts a whole nw complexion on things. In my experience most website administrators are pompous nobodies who enjoy the sense of power they get from passing judgement on other website users, without fear of retribution. Until now that is. If this one senseless act strikes fear into these self-important on-line Gods, then at least something good will come out of it - IndioBlack, Leeds, 26/9/2008 9:08 ' Dear God...Daily Mail comments page eh

Don't think Julian Dicks played at the Olympics either.

Why is there such an obsession with J69 on here?

Fuck off. Was it your fault you crashed? pretty much yeah, had been to a paintball thingy for mates birthday and was on the way back. I was giving four mates a lift and another lad was driving his pal home, we were kind of racing (Like twats) and came across what we though was a bend, but it was in fact a junction. He managed to stop, but the weight, wet conditions and my inexperience meant I just couldn't stop in time. Went into the back of him at about twenty-thirty mph incredibly lucky nothing was coming and that we all walked away unharmed. The passenger in the other car claimed spinal injuries, which was bollocks but at the end of the day I was being a dick and allowed myself to be goaded on by friends and we could have all been seriously injured or worse. Improved my driving no end. Didn't get any points on my license though And have you learnt your lesson yet or are you still a fast twat? Magma'd

They can't fail you for that... especially being so close to the return to the test centre. To fail, you have to do something wrong from a driving point of view. If you had suffered a major on the test then fair enough. If there is a mechanical failure you get a 'no result', which is neither a pass nor a fail. It happened to my friend on one of his tests, the instructor should cover the cost of the new test, if you're with a franchise check their T & Cs.

They have got easier like, not much students can do about it though.

I had a job refereeing the equivalent games at the Riverside all this summer, believe me that is not a prerequisite for playing.

My Mam and dad are coming back from Scotland in their motorhome and both front tyres have worn down to the rim on the inside of the Tyre. MvB pulled over, fashioned a quick BBQ from an upturned trolley, threw a couple porterhouse steaks on there and turned his attention to the van. Hoisting it onto his shoulders he adressed the tyres, convincing them with his usual charm and affable nature to re-inflate and not to do it again. Set it back down in time to serve up the Steaks and sat to have a nice chat with my Dad about genealogy while complimenting my Mam on her cross-stitching. I also heard he was heading off to Ossetia to act as a cease fire enforcer, volleying the missiles and mortars back from whence they came disarming them in the process. Leave it to Fish to make a joke not funny anymore. so true

It happened in World Cup 1990, Group F. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Cup_1990 Both teams qualified in the end though, would have been a horrendous way to go out!

ITV are total morons- attacking players have to be active to be offside, defenders are always active. It's not hard!

I'm well up for it, nice to have some international football on without the usual England slavering by the media. I agree that the adverts are shocking though.

Sima destroyed.

What did the bloke who made the tackle get? Both got red. Not bad for a "friendly". About right I think! Not sure what possessed the tackler to make a tackle like that in that area of the pitch!

Well done Mort. He's done a good job I reckon, hope his successor can carry it on.

What an embarrassing thread.
