  4. Proper old man dandruff that. The kind of bloke who hassles you at a jukebox.
  5. If I’m too close to someone it feels like it stops me accelerating and gently applies the breaks. like I said, surreal
  6. Mine does the automatic breaking thing, it’s quite handy but it feels utterly surreal. Its only ever done it when I’ve gotten to close to another car though & one time I’d gone round a corner and someone sprung out on me. You end up breaking yourself as well, but it’s nice to get a head start
  7. Aye I know a lad who’s mate works canny high up in one of those death sheds & he treats his employees terribly. Says he’ll regularly get pissed and break out the “you know lads, I probably make more money than you put together” carry on. Apparently they know when you’re standing still etc
  8. Yay. I’ll be isolated and hungry Singing my new 10hr long song “I told you this would happen you daft cunts”
  9. It’s really starting to get to me mind. Ive been on my own since March, occasionally seeing people from a distance but it’s not really the same as we can’t really do anything. Working from home is starting to grate on me too but I suppose it’d be the same if I was in the office but couldn’t go somewhere with my mates. We’re pretty much back to where we started and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel.
  10. I like the look of the electric Golf. I think they’re a bit cheaper too
  11. Aye they said the quiet part loud and the loud part quiet
  12. Its the taxpayer that’s been saving her. Sing that instead.

Oh fair I might tweet something I’ve basically got a whole line of amps on one side of my living room, sadly I had to replace the guitar rack with a desk for home working. Ill put something together or maybe just use an old photo.

I legit can’t be arsed to post a picture of my rig across three platforms. Plus I have too many rigs.
  15. It’s such a shame they use a fortune of public money on utter shit. Ireland’s functional app cost less than £1m apparently. I’d be interested to know where all our billions disappear....
  16. It’s a wonderful recreation of the originals, we used to all play them as kids, take turns with the challenges and stuff. The graphics are obviously way better but I’d say they’re even good for PS4 standard. It’s visually great. Like the originals it starts off really difficult but once you do the different levels and get some stat points you turn into skateboarding Jesus. Definitely a good time killer & really fun & rewarding.
  17. Christ Tony Hawks is addictive I can’t remember what life before was like. I finish work and then I skateboard.
  18. Whilst this government flits between right wing authoritarianism at best & chaotic evil at worst I don’t know how I could ever be ambivalent about voting labour no matter how bland they are. Also I imagine the tactic is to establish trust/power and then gradually move left. (Starmer is literally on the board of the Fabian society)

I once had a 4x12 and the amount of air it shifted was utterly ridiculous. I can’t remember what the head was but it doesn’t seem to matter.
  20. £40k a year in London isn’t great like. (Edit - for dressing up as a dinosaur it is)

I suppose there’s a lot more options for valve amps these days, you can vary from 1w to 30w on one of the new oranges. That’s a perfect stage amp for 9 out of 10 bands and a great amp to use in the home. In fairness my 30w Orange performs fine at lower volumes as Ill use a pedal board through it anyway, obviously get some decent volume on it and it’s a different beast altogether but that doesn’t mean it has to be too loud for the home. I think stacks and half stacks are completely unnecessary these days and the sound guy will treat you like the bellend you are. He’s going to stick a little microphone on the side of that cab and you’ll be no different to a person playing a combo he didn’t need 4 people to carry.
