Just cos you're a waddler. Yes cycling is much better but 30 minutes of cycling around Paris is half as efficient as running for cardio and poses health risks of its own.

Its my right hip, back and groin causing the pain, the knees are ok (ish). My body has adapted and compensates for the knee problem sending it elsewhere. However, i am going to follow up, looks good.

He's making me some custom-made orthotics and sent me to an Osteopath. The difference in pressure and running action between my feet is remarkable, no wonder i've got issues.

It's not that much tbh, it's about 5 miles 3 times a week. Might have been enough to fuck me up though. Don't have the diet to go full ghandi, too many fat business dinners and excessive amounts of red wine.

Going to a sports podologist tomorrow to discuss various pains and aches. I think my left knee injury is causing issues with my right hip due to compensation in running style. I've been averaging 100km a month this year and I think age / excess has done me in.

I'm not being serious but imma gonna go ahead and disagree that its rude. When addressing you, they spoke English but they dont have to speak English to each other when you are there. Property tends to be cheaper abroad so if you're a homeowner moving to the sun and making money to help you settle is a 'thing'. About 2 million have done this apparently. Not many were inverted snobs either The point being that Cath and Gemmill sound a bit like little englanders tutting about foreigners having the temerity to speak in THEIR language in OUR country. I know they're not really but I enjoyed the irony anyway.

Coincidentally, we had a paper accepted today too in a publication called Cancer Treatment Reviews. We started the work in late 2012 so its been a long time coming. Only my second paper this year like, not the scope to do lots like Renton. Nor will it get an award either, that's good work that Rents.
