Last Vegas. Made me giggle. -
Gemmill giving up here and Hayley Cropper leaving Coronation street. Fiction cruelly emulating real life right there.

Decent hotels near Wembley , start of march ?
ChezGiven replied to I ♥ Daddys Cock's topic in Newcastle Forum
You should stay in Harlesden or Stonebridge, just right next to Wembley. Very conveniently located for the stadium and great night life, bars etc. -
Rents man you've not read the posts properly and you've answered your own question. The important words which I did repeat for you were 'size and distance'. The distance between the earth, the moon and the sun is an important factor. That's 3, not 2. Size of the body your standing on obviously doesnt matter but distance does. If you don't like it, write to Iain Banks' estate to complain.

Nice one, will give them a shot.

I've just diagnosed myself but given the location of the pain and the description of the symptoms, am 99% sure its that. What did your doc advise?

I find myself swearing AT the Sunday supplement whenever i'm unfortunate enough to catch the fat headed cockney wide boy arseholes prattling on like they werent the last kid to be picked and shit themselves in the tackle.

I also think the probability is also very low, there are candidate moons around Uranus, Saturn etc but the solar eclipse's there will look shit as the sun is so far away. The closer you are to the sun, the larger the moon needs to be which would preclude the existence of the moon as they cant (or shouldnt be) too close in size to the host planet. So the eclipse requires a certain distance from the earth, moon and sun simultaneously to create a visual sight worth seeing since a tiny eclipse from a tiny moon in the outer reaches of a a solar system is not worth traveling at the speed of light for, particularly because of the digestive problems caused by coming out of warp speed.

Renton, it is the 'size and distance' of 3 bodies not 2. If you want to be pedantic, be correct.

I love this logic and agree. It reminds of the introduction to Transition by Banks, on 'how to capture an alien'. The logic is very much like your own that Aliens who have conquered intergalactic space travel will be reasonable beings otherwise evolution would have rooted out their civilisation. Therefore, being reasonable beings they are likely to have quite cultured pursuits and enjoy visiting places for the cultural enrichment and possibly, decent beaches with a nice bar to chill out next to. Given how essentially wank most of the earth is, if there are Aliens and they are traveling and they are coming to earth, the most likely explanation for them visiting us is the one amazing feature of this corner of the solar system and galaxy; the solar corona of a total solar eclipse. This solar corona is caused by some pretty incredible coincidences. For the moon to hide the sun and for us to be able to see a Corona, the moon has to be the perfect distance between the earth and the sun and the perfect size for it to completely block the sun but allow the naked eye to see the corona. Its a coincidence of massive proportions, millions or billions to one chance of having the exact dimensions between 3 celestial bodies. So, given the rarity of the sight and its beauty, you would expect our holiday-loving, cultured Aliens to visit the earth to observe this rare and fascinating feature. So if you want to capture an Alien look out for weird looking people in ill-fitting clothes hanging out at the back of solar eclipse crowds. They're the aliens.

Tried to stand up this morning but his kness went all trembley.

I'd be asking SEMTEX to eat his own shit too. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php?topic=93975.msg4648643#msg4648643

Who was that?

It is a hindrance for any club trying to compete in the premiership with an annual revenue of 80 to 100m. I'd argue we need 5 to 7 more high quality players to compete effectively in Europe and domestic cups. Lets say all on 50k a week, that 350k additional weekly spend on wages alone (+ costs). Thats an additional 18m. If you agree that a healthy wages to turnover ratio is around 60% then you need an extra 30m in revenue to carry those extra players required to cope with the addtional games. Our wage bill is around 60m and our revenue is around 90m. The clubs competing in Europe all have wage bills in excess of 100m. Clubs like Swansea with 65% ratio and low income will struggle. As you can see from their current flirtation with the relegation places. I am really enjoying whats happening to Swansea this season, not got anything against them but its lovely to see so many people proven wrong about Pardew this season on all fronts.

A prudent move, bringing someone in to give the lads a lift without actually taking on any financial risk, Montpellier keep paying his wages and we've taken an important step forwards with squad depth and attacking options. It's a win-win but not really, a kind of good move if you think about it, could work out positively given the right circumstances. Kinnear is a genius.

West Ham were starting to exploit us down the right in the second half. I think it's a mix of Santon not playing well enough, tactical pressure down that flank and wanting to give everyone a signal. If Pardew thinks Santon is not coping with an increasing focus on his flank then I disagree 100% with HF's typically blinkered view that it's Pardew pissing about in tight games. It's just as easily see as shoring up an emerging weakness. He keeps starting him presumably because he sees it as a dip in form and doesn't want drop him.

App is called OPlayer, I got the lite version for free. Open app and tap the web icon to open a browser. Enter muchmovies.org and then find a film. Press the play button and a small pop up will ask play or download. Download puts the film file inside the app ready to watch. The choice on that site isn't amazing (but not bad!) so am looking for others that work like that for iPad. -

Got a new app for the iPad which lets you download films from the internet so no need to convert the file or even plug the iPad in. Supports Air Play too. Lined up to watch: Oblivion, Django Unchained, Kick-ass 2, Captain Philips, Man of Steel, Into Darkness and The necessary death of Charlie Countryman. -
Also why pretend thats not what everyone is talking about, Goals on Sunday took comments from twitter telling us he would be perfect for Man U and then discussion from Di Matteo and Pearce about how hard it will be to hang on to him. Also astounds me that people read newspaper articles and assume that the quotes are direct without prompted questions and come in the order that they are stated on the page. I presume these people read the articles with the mouths hanging open and dribble falling on to the page.

As a manager? One Europa league quarter final with Getafe. They (Swansea) do lack the experience which was the point being made, Laudrup being the most experienced at the club. We had a bad season last season but we are having a good one this year and we had a very good one the year before. 2 out of 3 good seasons starts to become statistically significant and leaves the critics looking unfair.
