Generally and specifically right this minute too. Get back in there. I can understand the perspective that its just fuel but its a shame not to enjoy it more. As i say, i reckon apart from people like Brock who are professionally interested, it comes to everyone when there is fuck all else to do.

Kind of was dangerous on account of the fact that it damaged the player.

When you have resigned yourself to the change in your life (baby) and realise that you no longer have the time to go out ans see friends then you may end up getting into cooking too. I dont understand how anyone cant be, i learned when i left home at 18 to go to University. I never lived at home again after that permanently so had to learn how to cook and cheaply. Nowadays, i buy the very best and pair with 30 quid bottles of wine. I spend all the money i save not going out and pissing it up walls.

Cling film for burns. Run under cold tap, dry it off then cover the burn in cling film. Absolutely sorts you out.

The De Jong tackle was worse on every single count. He set out to injure Ben Arfa, Mbwia wanted to bring Nasri down. De Jong was 2-footed, off the ground in a head on collision, Mbwia was from the side. And finally, the defining piece of evidence that settles any dispute, Ben Arfa was out for 18 months with a double leg break, Nasri has sprained some ligaments due to a side impact.

Doing a curry tonight. Bought a shoulder of lamb yesterday, keeping it simple but spicy. Onions, garlic, ginger then spices, then the meat, then chopped tomato, then yoghurt, then simmer then coriander. Bought some oven bake naan breads as a treat. Will make enough for a lunch or 2 over the week as leftovers. Will serve with a Bandol wine. I've become interested in putting red wine with spicey thai / indian etc curries. I dont drink much beer anymore so have got into red wine + curries when doing them. A Bandol is one which works well.

Louise Taylor reckons that Pardew calling Pelligrini an old cunt is to blame for Mbwia's challenge on Nasri.

If Hughton has 3m to spend on a midfielder, i reckon he should be looking elsewhere to spend it.

I've said far worse at the match, only embarrassing because he was caught on camera which fully captures the nonsense of modern morality by media.- 10610 replies

Completely agree about Tiote, him versus Toure yesterday was fantastic to watch. Fucking City fans claiming that De Jong's tackle on Ben Arfa was a fair tackle are the most self-deluded one-eyed monstrosities of the modern game. The rules have been adapted continuously to provide referees the chance to send off players who dont make full contact but endanger an opposition player. De Jong's tackle was far worse that Mbwia's as it was a pre-meditated attempt to dish out a 'reducer' early on in a game against what was widely considered pre-match our main attacking threat. His wonder goal at Everton the week before signalling him as our key danger man. De Jong played the ball and man in a deliberate attempt to hurt Ben Arfa, absolutely obvious to anyone watching that day. Of course he didnt intend to do the damage he did but the wink clearly shown on TV between him and another player condemned De Jong's intent as that of a cowardly cunt. Any City fan who thinks that De Jong's tackle was clean or fair is a cunt. I did my ligaments as a kid, most painful horrible thing to happen to me. Not in the slightest bit arsed about Nasri, hope his leg falls off.

Kompany a gent as ever though.

Bit harsh. What was the big error?

Would have to see it again. Taylor played well today as another aside.

He's had 3 chances today he should have buried.

Plenty in this thread 'taking issue' with a perfectly coherent statement to be going on with too. Someone in the match thread said it was the disallowed goal that changed the game. Totally incorrect. Pardew had us at them and we were on top when the goal was disallowed and we never let go of that apart from a few moments of class from City. 1-1 would have been a fair result but Pardew won't get any credit for that.- 10610 replies

Do you remember what happened to Ben Arfa at yours Kippax? I hope Nasri will be fine. However when he went down i did think that if it does keep him out for 18 months it won't even begin to have same impact on us when De Jong did Ben Arfa. You may not have been following Man City a few seasons ago, so I thought I'd point it out. We were also the better side for large parts of that game.

Revenge for Sissoko sparking the cunt out.

Parkmenistan, Parkenstein, Hyde Park Corner, Park Life were all mine in a tit for tat name calling session. Mine is the name of my bar, it's a sports bar with a lot of Newcastle memorabilia called Chez Given. People call me Monsieur Given but my real name is Balthazar.

No they dont.

So the answer is around 2880 then.
