  1. The mackem twat was hardly likely to be at the game though 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s was raining v PSG. They also had a drum. The atmosphere was worse because we didn’t play as well. That is a hill I’m completely prepared to die on. Mostly for the last 23 years since the expansion to 52k the atmosphere has been dictated by what’s been happening on the pitch. If we’ve been shite so has the atmosphere. People complaining about “hoo nee proper singers noo becoz of the ballot like” seem to disregard the complete absence of any significant vocal encouragement for the entirety of the Ashley regime. It’s fuckin bollocks to claim otherwise
  2. Why are Man City being given months to prepare a no doubt stout (and ludicrously expensive ) defence but Everton are apparently about to get a 12 point deduction dry no lube? 🤔
  3. It’s for Gloom. It’s ok JD is kosher 😆 Am exotic . I can’t help it 🤷🏻‍♂️ Any issues speak to my parents. You’ll need a clairvoyant mind
  4. Came down from Edinburgh on the train yesterday. Released the brown bear from its cave in the disabled wc. Returned to my seat then two minutes later someone was complaining about the area I had just vacated being out of order
  5. There seems to be wild fury on social media that the atmosphere wasn’t as good for a 0-1 home defeat than it was for a 4-1 home victory. Which I find a bit bizarre tbh For a good hour Dortmund prevented us from setting our normal tempo, we didn’t help ourselves mind with some sloppy passing in midfield. First half Can was killing us with those long balls from deep which by passed midfield and they were straight on to our back 4 and should’ve scored before he got injured, that didn’t matter a great deal because after he went off they fuckin scored anyway Issak was maybe brought back too early, Wilson should’ve scored but in general Hummels knew far too much for him. Crafty old European foxes came with a decent game plan to make us play at their slower pace and it mostly worked a treat for them even with our glut of missed chances (that old chestnut) and woodwork scraping. Group appears to be wide open but we’ve only one home game left. Difficult to imagine getting a win in either Germany or France. Might be Europa for us if Milan don’t pull their socks up..
  6. We stayed at Mission Beach, first place we saw a DANGER THERES CROCS ROUND HERE sign in QLD . The now semi permanent Mrs PL went for a night time comfort break at the campsite dunny armed with a torch, soft bog roll and a fork from the camper van’s kitchenette
  7. It’s definitely Joe Mangle tribute week on here
  8. Produced by Trevor Horn. I’d recommend his book, he basically invented 80s pop… the first use of a fairlight sequencer/sampler was on a record he produced. For 10 points can you name it? 🤔
  9. We’re flying to Edinburgh from Bournemouth (£25 return!) then getting the train down . Rumours of time for a swift half gallon in the Free Trade, Marygate, Berwick upon Tweed are said to be “wide of the mark” 😉
  10. Hunter valley is full of Northumbrian place names, presumably due to miners from the NE settling in the area to exploit the coal reserves? There’s a Kelso in Washington State, US, just at the foot of Mt St Helens which blew its top in the winter of 80/81 which coincided with my first year at secondary school. Kelso High School Roxburghshire was somehow in regular contact with Kelso High School Washington and we received lots of photos showing the devastation across the area. We did a geography project on it, about how the eruption affected the weather across the entire planet, including causing one of the coldest winters on record in the uk 🤓 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_eruption_of_Mount_St._Helens
  11. How about some early morning Rhineland (soft) ROCK??! (stand by for more Bosch bangers throughout the day pop pickers )
