@Kevin Carr's Gloves are the SNP bent or what? Were the leadership distracting the populace by bellowing “FREEEEEEDOMM!!” every five mins whilst trousering tax payers money?

Yeah that is just about as good as the Ashley era got team wise. Great day, drank my own body weight in about 90 mins in a Wetherspoons post game before I got on the train home, there were loads of Chelsea on it who were being all pally with us because we’d beaten Man Utd, then some Norwich lads got on at Stoke and we left them to it…. I think some from both sides were removed by the constables at Birmingham New Street 👮♀️

Met some cunt on a job this morning from another company. Nice bloke, then my mate said “ooh who are you lot playing tonight??” I told him and this lad said in his best Home Counties accent “OH IM A SEASON TICKET HOLDER AT OLD TRAFFORD!!”… so I told him it’s about fuckin time he left for Mancyland seeing as there’s a game tonight… he mumbled something about not being able to get to all the games he’d like to blah blah blah…. 🤪

The Nolans were a staple of the northern club circuit. Sounds like they had a hit then gave up

You’ve missed “Crying” by Don McLean but yeah Try the pod, they discuss the Nolans (they have their own genre: “mum disco” ) endlessly

“the eieventies” circa early 79- late 82 I’d recommend that podcast to @Alex @Renton @Meenzer On the pod they state the two best years for popular music are 1979 and 1981. 1980 was a throwback to the bad 70s, not the good 70s that am on about. Hope that’s all clear
