  2. Had a meeting with a personal trainer today and really looking forward to starting next week. Mainly concentrating on the various weight machines and managed them all very well.
  3. Aye, that’s what we get. Nice to have a burger or cheese on toast now and again.
  4. It’s going to be a nightmare until they find a way to increase capacity / build a new stadium. I was hoping to get one for me and the daughter as we really enjoyed it last season. I’ll still enter the raffle next week but looks like it’s back to a membership and the mad scramble each time they go on sale. Overall I think it’s fairer doing it this way.
  5. Aye, it’s an absolute ballache when only one of you is on it. Luckily my lass decided to give it another go so it’s been a doddle the last few weeks as she loves baking etc. Also had her fitted with one of the freestyle libre 2 blood glucose monitor and it’s pretty impressive how her bloods have improved in such a short space of time. She’s looking at coming off one of her diabetes meds next week (Type 2). Also helped that we’ve found someone who supplies bread buns at 2g a go.

  9. Even on Keto you consume some carbs, but if you are not using them as a fuel source for energy, there’s nothing particularly great within them that the body either needs or cannot get from elsewhere.
  10. Yes I do enjoy it Lots of people do sustain it I love that the eating part is easy. Whack a steak, chicken or salmon on the grill. I love not being hungry (most days) until 5pm I love the energy and clarity that comes from being in Ketosis. And I still love my Keto duck pizzas I mean it is the way our body’s were designed to operate. Hunt meat and gather berries etc when in season. Im pretty convinced that sugar, carbs and most processed food do nothing good for our bodies whatsoever.
  11. Agree with this. It’s 100% try to change habits and maintain those changes. Not easy whether it’s food, alcohol, anxiety or many issues. Never say never of course, but I do feel a bit more in control of this process this time around.
  12. I enjoy the gym while there and love the high when I’m done. Just need to fall in love with “wanting” to go.
