  1. And if we're doing songs.......You gotta trust Robbie
  2. Yes, take Fish's advice and you too could be spending Christmas on an air bed at your mams getting headfucked of an old aunt
  3. Definitely He's a.) got a broken leg that might affect his playing ability when he returns, and he's b.) yet to prove himself in the Prem. Might not even play again this season IIRC. The remark was made with the idea that he has recovered as it was with Ben Arfa. Putting that matter to one side, if he was now available after what he's achieved so far this season, then most Newcastle fans would give him a go instead of Jonas.
  4. Im not so sure. I think Bartons being a revelation on the right not only with his creative attacking play but also with his defending. You could be right though and if we had two decent wingers who were capable then Barton could go back to orchastrating from the middle. Remains unsure
  5. After the typical "lad" responses I would also throw in for consideration trying to win her back. If shes the one, dont give up. It could well be a rut has set in, you've been too possesive as you say or spending too much time on xbox live. It may well be that someone else has turned her head. Lust not love is a very powerful force but if she is the one, its worth taking the battle to your opposition and not just giving up. Women can be snake with tits and usually when they come out with lines like we've grown apart, its not you, the truth is someone else has come around sniffing. The good news is lust can wear off as quickly as it arrives, even quicker when the dirty deed is out in the open. Again, If shes the one, clean up your act, make a few changes and get back in the hunt. Court her all over again but not like some mad stalker. If shes not the one, drink, strip club a few lap dances is not a bad moving on point. Good luck
  6. Not sure about this one. Definitely not the player he was and 32 starts in four seasons is a worry. You also have to wonder that if Harry couldnt get him playing again why could we. My next concern would be if we were buying him to replace Barton. If not, where does he fit in with a front 6 of Barton, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Carrol, (a supposed new striker and replacement for Jonas). I must say I love Barton on the right and would love us to either play Lua Lua in for Jonas and Ben Arfa in the middle or off Carrol like a new Beardsley. Lets be careful not to get too excited on past glory players as we've seen them all before, too often.
  7. Quite harsh on CT there. Especially considering im dieting
  8. email answers to website@nufc.co.uk Closing date - 5pm - Monday 3rd January - Winners notified by email 1. Which current member of the magpies coaching staff played in goal for us at upton park in 1986? Off the top of my head I think it was Beardsley? 2. Who scored the last hat trick in games between the two teams? 3. Who scored the first goal in matches between the two teams in the premier league? Good Luck
  9. Happy new year as well and good luck on the job front. Nice pies as well.
  10. Papers saying that Dan Gosling is included in the squad for the first time.
  11. Its a concern that he's gone to London with medical staff for further investigation. You would have thought there was enough resources in the North East for scans etc
  12. Alas not me. Off out about 5ish for pre party drinks, then to a party and hopefully too drunk to type when I get in. Even better awake to the transfer window, a month of madness. Remember: Throw up before you get in the taxi and dont try to get out while its moving. Tell you what kidda, for a dad of a very young bairn you do alright for nights out That's because, like the Europeans, we tend to include the kids and have friends who do the same. All four kids will come to the pub for grub then back to friends house for fun and laughter. Keep in mind though that a 40 something new years eve party is a much more civilised affair than a 20 something party. But regardless, always include the kids as much as you can in whatever you do and you'll have lovely kids and reap many many rewards. I actually wanted to work tonight as it's a biggy, but it's the three oldest kids who have insisted I stop off and party instead. I'll try not to think of the money at 11pm when I'm yet again failing miserably at chirades. Even the promise of something called dance party on the wii. Oh joy, probably pop a hip.
  13. Strange hotel that. When I stopped there everyone was dressed in black. It was a tad surreal. Had a trendy nigh club underneath where Ridley Scott and a few celebs were celebrating something? The breakfast was crap so maybe an early morning trip to McDonalds might be a good idea.

A Wise Man can see more from the bottom of a well than a Fool can see from the top of a mountain Well, bring yourself down here, there's more than enough room mate Btw, your avatar causes me no end of problems at work. Hiding it's a job akin to masking the smell of bucket smoke coming from my bedroom circa 99. Count your blessings monkeys fist has changed his for Christmas

  16. But Man City have fought Tevez and his agents to keep to keep him at the club....succesfully, so far. Man U fought succesfully to keep Ronaldo that extra season when Madrid were dying to buy. Arsenal fought to hold onto Fabregas when Barcelona were circling. Who has Ashley ever fought for like that? Did they fight or just pushing up the price? I doubt you will know who Ashley has fought for in the past. I guess the proof of the pudding is that we havent sold the likes of Enrique or Jonas or Colochini etc when relegated. And I think its fair to say that the club have been very quick to tell everyone Carrol is going nowhere once gossip started about Man city and Totenham sniffing around. Rednapp has already said he understands that Newcastle wont be selling Carrol. As I linked to earlier...when we were relegated the entire squad was put up for sale. That's your proof he fought to keep these players? There hasn't been an open window since Carroll has shown his ability in the top flight. Whatever the club say means nothing whatsoever until the next window is closed. Strange you see NUFC's claims as honest endeavour, but that of MUFC, AFC and MCFC as driving the price up....the evidence suggests you have that arse about tit. We've had 3 windows since relegation. Surely the big bad ashley would have cashed in on someone by now?

  19. See what happens when you take a morning off.
