  1. The point about those two games was that we had most of the play and you kept think....Its just a matter of time until we score....my opinion anyway. On the balanace of play, most fans would think we should have won those two games, which is the general point im making. If you diasgree fair do's.
  2. No they don't, no they aren't. No, you shouldn't X-Factor is aimed at morons, and it's no great surprise it's found it's mark with you. Fucking snob
  3. serious question, has sunderland ever had a decent celebrty? Male or female
  4. What a load of crap. The blokes done a very good job so far and is getting better all the time. Who do you think Ashley would replace him with? JFK 2 First home game 6 nil stuffing of Villa, then losses to Blackpool, Stoke followed by a last gasp draw with Wigan? If thats your idea of progress Id hate to see...oh hold on aye the Politics thread At least I bother to take part in it... As for Hughton, hears a bloke who comes after the disaster of JFK and Shearer. He brought humility back to the team, got us promoted when most on here were predicting relegation to division two. He has then brought in some decent signings (Ben arfa) against an Ashley backdrop and has then put out teams that thrashed villa, won at Everton and Chelsea, outplayed, stoke and blackpool, all the time playinging decent football. Talk about Sky news part time rent a mong.
  5. Thats the line they always put out when a first team regular is dropped tbf.
  6. What a load of crap. The blokes done a very good job so far and is getting better all the time. Who do you think Ashley would replace him with? JFK 2 I don't think he should be sacked CT, I like him, just said I can see it happening. Fair enough :-) don't think he'll get the heave Ho. Think he'll keep us up which will be a great result.

  8. No heart, no urgency. First game I've seen this season where the above has been true. Shola for lovehandles Anyone for perch Still sticking with 3-2
  9. Millions To March In France As Strikes Bite
  10. Predict a few surprises in the team today, Hughton starting to worry in the back of his mind about Joe Kinnear hovering. This will all result in a 3 - 2 win to us.
  11. Any self employed out there know if there is a cheap (free ish) and straightforward way to take credit card payments from a customer either face to face or over the phone. Most seem to want big licks upfront, a merchant account and a lead time of 2-3 weeks. Ideally just want an app or a website I can enter the details into and then have the money transferred to my account. I appreciate there will be transaction charges to pay. Any ideas?
  12. Gary Glitter is in Chile Now! Only place that you can slide a minor up and down your shaft and get applauded.....
  13. Balls the size of footballs those rescuers and paramedics who volunteered to be sent down into the crumbly mine.
  14. Now had a chance to see it and while he did okay, his weird lispy voice and spock resemblance overide anything he might say. He is to Labour what William Hague was to the Tories. Even worse he looks like John Redwood. Add to this that Cameron will keep hitting back with "your lot left us with this mess" and its hard to see how he will get anywhere, at least until they come up with some sensible alternative policies other than wishing the financial mess away. Finally while he looked ok watching it live, watching the edited snippets that the news show and most people watch, he didnt come across half as well and even seemed a bit timid. Still, all his negatives put to one side, not a bad start, especially being your first go and even more especially bearing in mind that you wernt the first choice of all the poloticians standing behind you.
  15. She's not the fittest one like, theres two way fitter than her. But aye she was the prettiest one left in the boardroom and should probably have gone. Tbh though when you strip away the PC aspect of it, human nature dictates that you're more likely to 'buy' something from someone you fancy/find appealing than someone you don't so it's probably not entirely out of synch with his basic business instincts. Sex sells in just about any industry, retail, media, law etc etc ad infinitum. Not fair I grant you but then life isnt fair. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, might just be because she reminds me of this mackem Andrea I used to work with, but imo she is by far the best looking, and a very good looking girl by any standards, quite obviously the only thing that saved her. I think she's bonny as owt, don't get me wrong, but she's pretty in the way that lots of young girls are pretty when theyre young. The other two are genuinely beautiful and will be for their entire lives. Laura will look completely ordinary when she's middle aged. And before anyone pipes up, I'm not claiming to be Paul Newman myself so yous can bag it. She reminds me of Linda Lusardi, however she definitely looks a lot worse with her mouth open. Like a scene from Tombstone.
  16. You'd be the ideal candidate as you could drive yourself off after you get fired too.
  17. Totally pissed off at the result tonight. Stevie summed it up with the following line... "Managed the project got NOT ONE PENNY in sales, admitted she couldn't manage the team and couldn't control them". I would also add that she was the one who turned down the boots exclusivity offer and she couldnt even make her mind up about who to bring in. Usually if someone hasnt "shone" (although she did say it was her idea to go go with the upmarket suasages that won last week), then they get a shot across their bows for forthcoming weeks. Laura was hapless and should have gone, will be gone very soon. I would love to go on the show. Absolute clueless business prospects the majority of them.
  18. If Ive read that right id does fuck all for business's with a turnover of less than 10 million? Surely its the smaller firms that are crying out for the cash. TBH sick of hearing poloticians go on about this for the last 3 years. Surely there is something they can do to to get the cash flowing to the smaller business's. I suppose any step is good news ish, but suspicious all the same.
  19. The recue misson may be dangerous, but at least they havent sent the Americans to get them.
