I think the main two messages that people have got over the last week is that it transmits very fast but appears milder “like a bad cold”. Thats not really going to make most people change their routines too much from what they are already doing. I appreciate possible situations for the NHS btw. Theres also a lot of differences in people personal risk based on their circumstances. I have 3 kids in 3 different schools so I pretty much think there’s not too much I can do to avoid it. And because of that, I wouldn’t get my other daughter or her kids to do a test before they pop round. But I totally understand other people without kids, with young kids, with health problems or less general exposure being more cautious. I just wish the fucker would mutate some more and give us special powers like in misfits.

That’s horrible. I’ve been taxi’ing a few people around lately with other half’s I. Care homes and it’s brutal what awaits a lot of people in old age.

Just tried it through the apps on fire cube and it works. So you would probably need to be watching live to through iPlayer or itv hub etc

Other than football streams I can’t really say we watch any live TV. Might work? Works on all streamed stuff (Netflix / prime etc)

Sorry to disappoint but most of this smart home thing is for morons. Ok you are hiding behind the cabinet excuse but ffs, walking into a room and saying Alexa lights on or clapping your hands…. I love a gadget as much as the next idiot. Sonos arc and surround speakers, worth every penny. A fucking video doorbell Fine if you live in Beverley hills but howay. Some fucker has one in our street cos I keep hearing that irritating jingle. As for Alexa, the only thing I use it for is timing cooking or pausing and playing TV. If I’m sprawled on the sofa it’s much easier to say pause / play than sit up to get the remote. Ive lately being trying to convince myself there is some point to a smart watch Just know @Dr Gloom has one.

It’s a shame really given the upgrades in performances around him. Just doesn’t seem to be his old self lately.

The atmosphere was absolutely superb, particularly the last 10 gut wrenching minutes. You would have though we’d just avoided relegation. Lots of singing going on all the way back to Haymarket. Var mind. Takes a bit of a shine off scoring when you have to wait for the decision. Same with disallowed goal. Not sure my heart can take games like that anymore
