Im going to have a play on with HDR this week, trouble is that the best HDR shots seem to be taken at dusk so you have a mix of artificial and natural light and Im not getting much chance to get out at that time of day. Aye, that photo of my street on the previous page was taken at dusk. As has been said, either the start or end of the day is the best time to get Photos. On the day I leave Bristol there are some balloons that are let off at sunrise, so I'm hoping to get up and get down there to get some shots of them as the sun rises. Just been looking through some old photographs and found this one: Was taken from my ex's top floor bedroom, and just with my phone. Who says you need the expensive DSLR to be a photographer ey!? (Yeah I know it would have been 10x better as a HDR shot with a DSLR, but ssh!)
-
Yeah, just on a long exposure and some speedy arm work! I have only shot a few things in RAW. Been practising with this HDR stuff, so shoot all them in RAW and edit them in some odd program. Have been using Photoshop for much longer than I have been Photographing, so that has come in pretty handy really!

Two more great photos, JawD. Do you do much editing after you've taken the photo in Photoshop or the like? I'm getting a little annoyed that I haven't really had anything to photograph recently. Been experimenting with light drawing, but haven't quite got the knack of being invisible in them yet!

Actually, English is a West Germanic language is it not?

Wow, how powerful must your computer be!? Generally that is what I try, just on a smaller scale. Having won the World Cup with England on this game, and the FA Cup with Liverpool, I am hoping to clear up by taking the Premiership title, the League Cup and the Uefa Cup. Am three points behind Chelsea with two games in hand at the top of the league, and have got the League Cup final coming up. Have had major injury problems, but as long as Torres is fit then I'm ok! He's on 22 goals in 24 games at the moment, and after coming in in January, Derbyshire has 4 in 4. Depending on how much I get to spend at the end of the season, I might leave Liverpool for a team that I could take to Champions League glory - possibly in another country so I can start clearing up in Spain/Italy (the other two nations I have loaded).

Was about to say I was finally free of my injury crisis, but in a League Cup game against the smoggies four of my players go and get injured. Absolutely ridiculous! Going to be a tough month ahead :/

That size shirt does nothing for your figure.

That looks like Newbridge Hill in Bath. I'm probably a million miles from where it actually is like... Is the street my house is on, all the way up in Lancashire! Not quite a million miles, maybe just a couple of hundred!

Tractor Mk. 2 Have been short of anything worth taking a photograph of recently. Off to Bristol in a week though and they have the hot air balloon festival on which should provide me with something decent to photograph! (Not sure if I posted this one either: )
-
Aye, that's what I do bring. Photographs!
-
FYP Um, anyway, I don't bring much, if anything. Mainly just lurk, and contribute the odd post here and there.

Having a bit of an injury crisis. Got Collard (regen, CB), Agger, Lucas and Torress all sidelined, meaning my small squad is being stretched to the max! Also wasted my games in hand that could have taken me top, but am only one point behind Man U. About to go into December, and then January can't come soon enough!
-
And then with almost the same starting 11 I thrash Olympiakos 6-0 away in the next game :/ Ah well, still got a game in hand that would take me top of the Premiership, and have the whole seasons ahead of me! How are you finding picking out the good regens, Andrew?
-
Just lost my first ever game as Liverpool to Hull :/ 1-0 at Anfield. One of those games where you have umpteen shots on target but bugger all happens.

Just a quick photo I took about 10 minutes ago:

I was surprised at how cheap I managed to get Vela, especially because of how much you had to pay for him on the last game. I got him for £7.5M, and he has 4 goals in 9 starts but has been playing AMC and ML as well as striker.
-
Am 6 games into the season with Liverpool (I take my time..!) and am in 2nd place. One point behind, of all teams, Wolves, and got a game in hand. Playing a 4-4-1-1 but my only real strikers are Torres, Vela (who I think plays better ML or AMC), Dalla Valle (who is only 20) and a regen called Pages (only 17..). Have had an offer accepted for Matt Derbyshire who looks like he should be a pretty sufficient backup, but I still think I'm going to need another AMC. Any suggestions? Might have to sell before I can buy..

Sol Campbell in sex change shocker? ""I have known Sol since he was a lad at Tottenham and am fully aware of what he has to offer."

Was one of the first ones I took after getting the camera. Knew how to do little more than put it in B&W, and saw that beggar almost perfectly framed by the arches. Was taken in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I've been into Photography for a good few years, ever since I started using Photoshop and the like really. Only got myself a DSLR a week ago, though, and still learning the basics! There are some great photos in this thread, and don't be surprised if I end up sending you a private message asking how you went about getting them! Anywhoo, suppose I better add a few of my own: (Ach, apologies for the size! Shall resize them..)

The home grown/trained at club rule has become the biggest pain of my life, but I think I have just about managed to deal with it. The Liverpool team that I took over was a fairly decent team, if only because of the Midfield and because of Torres. So I already had a midfield of Afellay - Gerrard - Mascherano - Ribery to start on, although Gerrard is 31, and a few other players were reaching that sort of age. So I sent out my scouts to find some youngsters to pep it up a bit, as well as trying to sell off the vast amounts of dead wood. Made 35M by selling off the likes of Riera, Kuyt, Nemeth, Aurelio and a few others, then bought in a ton of regens that I hope will turn out well, and Vela, Azpilicueta, Ochoa and Bertrand (just for the bloody home grown rule >_>). Started the season off brilliantly by beating Man Utd 3-1 in the Community Shield, and then beat Burnley 4-0 in the first game of the season. So far, so good! Still don't quite have the depth in numbers, and have a feeling that will work against me as we get further on into the season.

Have inherited a truley shocking Liverpool team right at the end of the season. A lot of older, crap players. Finished 7th in the league (couldn't do much about it) but did thrash Reading 7-0 in the FA Cup Final ^^
-
I wouldn't know what to suggest! I totally get how they have added in near enough everything an International Manager does in real life, but it isn't always too fun! Anyway, I got offered the Liverpool job and decided to take it and resign from my England post. Will keep the England game on another save, though ^^

Got myself a Canon 550D! Bought it in Malaysia for £650, which seems like a great deal bearing in mind the cheapest I've found it elsewhere was around the 700-750 mark. I'm still learning all the ins and outs of it, but have still managed to get some great snaps:

I still think that the international management side of things needs to be added to in FM2011. Don't get wrong, I am loving managing England at the minute, but with my next game not for another 164 days there is very little I can do. I know you can go and watch your players in action for their club teams, but personally I find watching the games a little boring when you aren't managing either side.
