Wow. Have been storming through the league on a 7 game unbeaten streak, using my tried and trusted 4-4-1-1 that I won the title with at both Liverpool and Tottenham. Gone from 17th to 11th, and although I don't expect to reach them, I am only 9 points off the play-offs with 9 games to go. Just beat Millwall, who are in the last play-off space, 3-2 after going down to 2-1. Also managed a draw with 2nd placed Walsall after going down to 2-0.

Anyone know anything about the lad, then? Sounds like he would be a decent buy to me, especially on a free. A product of the Lens academy (I think) which is generally seen as pretty decent, so definitely worth a try.

Great signing. Hopefully he can start vs. Blackpool and bag a goal or two to get his confidence going and then go on from there to be a really big player for us this season. But right now I'm made up. I don't think anyone would have believed that we would sign someone like Ben Arfa after the various comments from Hughton and the Press Releases pre-season.

I resigned and started a new save. Turned down job offers from top clubs in Italy because I was looking for someone in the lower English leagues. Eventually got the job at Bristol Rovers who were near the relegation zones in League 1. Have had no money to spend whatsoever, and am nearing the end of the season anyway. Got a couple of freebies in, but there isn't much I can do to improve the squad right now. Won my first two games 1-0 and 2-0, which gives me a fairly comfortable gap from the relegation zone. Doubt I will get much money to spend in pre-season, so will have to rely on freebies again, but hopefully can get a good mid-table finish next season and then push on for the play-offs in the season after.

I imagine you would be able to pick up a cheap flight to Kuala Lumpur with Air Asia if you book well in advance. Probably somewhere around the £500 mark, but it is practically a long haul Easyjet flight. No films (unless you pay for the entertainment pack), not a great deal of leg room, and no frills whatsoever. From KL it should be relatively easy (and cheap) to then go over to Aus.

Grr, hate this game sometimes! Play against some guy who picks R. Madrid. Beats me 3-1 first game, all three goals from Ronaldo. Agrees to a replay, and beats me 1-0 with another Ronaldo goal (every time he tried to score with another player he couldn't..). Fair enough, we go into the third game and I'm playing as Valencia. I go 2-0 up and he quits on me :/
