Will start this on a new post! So I have the Semi Final bout with Holland now, and should I win this I will face the mighty....Algeria (:/) in the Final! This competition just got VERY winnable! EDIT: Joe Hart is my new hero. Saved two penalties in the penalty shoot-out which means I have reached the final after 4-2 on pens! Was 1-1 in the game, with Defoe getting the goal for me. Algeria here we come. And in the most boring WC Final ever, England win 1-0 from a Gerrard Penalty. Oh well, shouldn't complain!

Made it through the group stages and have Portugal in the next round. Could only draw with the USA, but beat Paraguay and then qualified in style by beating S.Africa 5-0 (one each for Lampard, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor, Milner and Defoe). EDIT: Annndddd beat Portugal 2-0. Lennon got the first, then Agbonlahor got the second after coming on as a sub in the 85th minute. Got Argentina in the Q. Finals. Q. Final: Beat Argentina 1-0 ^^ A Rooney goal in the 118th minute means that I now play Holland in the Semi Finals. Should add that Joe Hart kept me in the game throughout the entirety of it - including saving a penalty!

I love a team of regens. If they are the ones that you bought aged 17 and nurtured up until the first team then I find it incredibly rewarding. I used to have a Newcastle game on FM09 where the majority of my team were regens, and it was incredible. Only down side was that I had enough good scouts to find the best regens when they were just appearing, and if I didn't get my hands on them early on then I had the money to bring them in later, so eventually it just got too easy.

Am starting to settle on my starting XI. Interestingly enough, I played what you might call a more 'conventional' England team in a friendly against Poland but could only draw 1-1, and then when I switched to my younger side I demolished the Czech Republic 4-0 (1 each for Joe Cole, Agbonlahor, Lennon and Defoe). I am concentrating mostly on creating a side with amazing pace, and thus they are absolutely lethal when counter attacking!

Have started an England game to see if I can do better than Fabio! Have decided to try and keep down the average age, so apart from a few of the 'core' players I have been using mostly the younger generation. Just beat Ukraine 4-1 with 2 from Milner, and one each from Walcott and Ashley Young.

I'm in Ho Chi Minh now, you know...wonder if I can find our shirts for cheap straight out of their Puma Village place they have here! Although I think its mostly the footwear they make here..

My Holiday is coming to an end before most people's have barely started >_> Am in my last few days in Vietnam. Spending one last day in Nha Trang (by the sea) and then head to Ho Chi Minh city tonight on the wonder that is a sleeper bus (10 hour journey >_>). Got a few days in Ho Chi Minh before catching a flight back to Kuala Lumpur and then a flight from Kuala Lumpur back to the UK! It has all gone far too quickly..

Was walking through Siem Reap before only to see a Cambodian in our yellow away kit with Smith on the bag. He really can crop up anywhere....!
-
He just doesn't look interested. Isn't going in for the balls like he used to, and he just waits for them to come to him. Cappello should make a bold move and start Defoe in his place next game.

Don't even get me started! We stayed until the end then were up for breakfast four hours later...

Spending my last few days in Kuala Lumpur now before we fly over to Siem Reap on Sunday. It is INCREDIBLY cheap and INCREDIBLY hot. Having a full curry for about 50p, and everyone is so easy to haggle with that it will be a massive shock to come back to the UK. Plus everyone says Malaysia is the most expensive place to stay, so it should only get cheaper as we head on to Cambodia/Vietnam. Traveled to the coast for a few days but it wasn't anything special, so just counting down the days until Cambodia. Time difference is a bitch. We are staying up now because England kick off at 2.30am here! Oh well!
-
Flying out to Malaysia tomorrow evening. There for about 9 days before heading over to Cambodia. All packed and ready to go - can't wait!

I'm assuming they have set up a home network, and have connected to their PC via the Xbox Dashboard and then just played the music as you would normally on Xbox. I think it is pretty self explanatory - certainly I found it easy to do. If you go on your dashboard and go to the settings, I think it explains everything under "Network Settings".

Watched an episode of this late last night. Made me realise how many brilliant artists there have been over the years, and made me a little worried about what my generation will be remembered for. I've always been a fan of older music anyway, and the likes of Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Queen, Bowie, The Rolling Stones e.t.c are true legends in all senses of the word. But what has recent music produced, and what will it be remembered for? Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of Gaga (and by mentioning that have probably lost all credibility I gained by mentioning the other artists!), but I could hardly ever imagine her living on in any way similar to the aforementioned artists. I was born in 1990. Who are meant to be the legends for my generation? Blur? Oasis? The Libertines? RHCP? RATM? Or is it just that my generation is more diverse and that there are more sub-cultures based on genre and the like than ever before? (P.S I hope you understand what I'm getting at! Been slowly drinking wine out in the sun all evening!)

No, your point was that Rio has always had a good team around him. Say what you like about the players' actions off the field, you can't deny that that Rio still has a great team around him at National level. And for the record - Lampard is gay?

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner Just download that. Will tell you what it is deleting. Will just be things like your temporary files that aren't particularly needed for anything. (the 'C' in 'ccleaner' is for 'crap', heh) Doing a defrag is always worth it. Just tidies everything up, as it were..
-
I have my key back! Got a friend to look at it, and after he gave up he just sat there jiggling it around while we chatted. I reached over and turned it, saying something along the lines of "see, you can turn it and everything, you just can't pull it..." and it came right out. Can't complain ^^
-
First download something like CCleaner (google it), and clear out anything it tells you to. Then leave it on over night while it runs a defrag (it will probably take a while). You should begin to notice an improved performance after that. Might also be worth having a little spring clean. Look through your add/remove programs list in the Control Panel and uninstall anything you don't use. You could also try deleting some old documents/pictures/music e.t.c. Not sure why there has been a sudden change in performance, mind.
-
How often do you defrag/run a system cleanup e.t.c. ?

They would have to make getting a striker or two an absolute priority if this happens. It really should go without saying, but this is Newcastle United we're talking about. I can't help but think this will be Ashley's logic: Carroll = Striker = make 4.5 Million. Kris Boyd = Striker = buy on a free. Profit = 4.5 Million.
-
I would be more than happy to let Carroll hit me for 20K...

The worse ones are the ones that beat you, agree to a rematch, and then quit when you go ahead...
