Jonas could have helped win it for us there if he had given a decent ball to Carroll >_>
-
Bit of luck, but a goal nonetheless!
-
Seriously, what the fuck is up with our defence??
-
Toontastic member Nyff also had similar problems, with his Debit card being declined at the fuel pumps at Asda.

Training with us at the moment. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle6991781.ece

After the W.Brom game sounds good! Will have to put in some practice so I'm in my best form, but hopefully we'll all be buoyed by a Toon win anyway ^^

Just look for good song/album names. Renegades On Your Wings Radio War The Rules Fear City Depends what genre you're going for, mind....

If you do get it sorted tonight then add 'eleven90' to your friends list and I will join you for some Fifa/COD when I get home from work tonight ^^

That's my mates scarf he's holding. He quickly asked him for it as he walked out onto the pitch to be introduced to the fans

I've added the MSN from your profile. We could try and set up a remote assistance session so that I can view your screen and set up your router to work properly with XBL.
-
I'm not sure it matters to much. As long as you put in the same number on your XBOX it is fine.
-
Have you looked into getting a set of homeplugs? Basically you plug one of them into the mains by your router and run an ethernet cable from the router to the homeplug, and then plug the second one into the mains next to your xbox and run another ethernet cable from the homeplug to the Xbox. So that means you are still, technically, 'wired', but you don't have to run a long wire from your router to the xbox and can have the xbox further away from the router.
-
I don't think it should matter? By typing in 192.168.0.1 you are connecting to your router. If you set the XBOX to connect to 192.168.0.5, then it is still connecting to your router, which then connects to the internet using what IP you are assigned for that session (I think). Static/Dynamic IPs have always confused me, mind...

Follow this guide: http://portforward.com/english/routers/por...ox_Live_360.htm

There will definitely be the option to forward the ports somewhere or other! What is the exact name and model of your router?
-
They should have all of your available information easily available to them, so just give them a call!
-
Set up the Xbox stuff manually. Set the ip to 192.168.1.5, the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 and the gateway to 192.168.1.1. There should be a place to put in another number under 'gateway', just put 192.168.1.1 again. That's if opening the ports doesn't solve it.
-
Do you log into your router from your browser btw? Is there a number you type into your address bar to do so?
-
That is probably where the problem lies. Let me go and start up my Xbox and see what it asks for. Are you able to log into your router and check which IP your Xbox is using?
-
My heads blagged from a generally busy day and tiredness setting it, but I will try! So is that a yes to entering it manually?
-
On the Xbox, did you let it automatically put in the right settings or did you manually enter everything?
-
I had a friend that had exactly the same problem. As soon as I opened the rights ports it worked perfectly over wireless. If the XBOX is saying it's connected then the router is, somehow, disallowing it a connection. Like right now I could log into my router and cancel all connections to and from my Laptop. The Laptop would still say I'm connected to the router, but the internet wouldn't work. It sounds like you're pretty clued up about all this stuff anyway, so sorry if I sound condescending. What router are you using?
-
Do you have the right ports open? Urmm....if not then it is probably something to do with your router rather than the Xbox. That's certainly been the case whenever I've had problems.

Two Jonas assists, and decent assists at that!
