The local nightclub has, in fact, had to abandon letting in women free and charging men since the show that this fact was on was on. A win for the consumer! Hurrah

Say it is an external fault that has come from the roof problem? Would they fix it the best they could anyway?

Just learned something rather interesting! Did you know that if a Nightclub is letting women in for free then they, by law, have to let in men free as well under this very act? So lets say I brought this up next time I'm out on a 'ladies night' at a club. If they don't allow me in for free, do I technically have the right to sue? Also, why doesn't this act influence car insurance at all?

At the moment none of our house phones are working, and thus the internet has a very varied and random degree of connection quality. The likely reason is because of a roof problem that means when we get rain there is a heavy amount of water falling from the gutter downwards where the phone line runs on the outside of the house, but just wondering if it could be something else? The phones just crackle and calls to the phones say they are engaged. The internet works for a while, then disconnects, then will reconnect again, and sometimes works perfectly as usual. The phones, however, are constantly not working. BT charge £150 for a guy to come and look at the phone line, and I'm not sure if he will necessarily fix it or just point out the problem at be done with it. Any help is appreciated!

A couple of episodes, but I never let my download of the first season of it complete. Also never really find the time to watch something like that when it isn't on weekly on TV! Did rather recently finish a book on the history of the Mafia, but it didn't really have too much on modern day mafia activity. When you read about the Mafia and their secretive ways, though, wykki's story seems a little far-fetched! Of course how the Mafia run nowadays is much different to how they used to run, so I suppose anything could happen. Still, I do love the whole idea of the Mafia and how they run. There is a great interview online with Richard Kuklinski, who was a Mafia hitman and claims to have killed well over 200 people. If I can find the links I will post them up.
