Breaking News: Leeds to start next season -15 Points

Its mental to think that actually. I was in the South Stand at Bellend Road when Bellers scored in the Kop. Dyer past Harte, cut back and wham, see you laters -
What's your first thought about Arsenal FC (where do you see them in terms of stature, history etc..?) My firt thoughts are Tony Adams, Paul Merson, Ian Wright and that sort of Highbury Era. I used to love watching Arsenal games at Highbury on a cold Wednesday evening, or listening to 5Live when they went to Highbury in the middle of winter. I dunno why, it made me feel rather cosy knowing that the Premiership was the place to be. I was gutted when they changed stadiums, still am really. As for History etc, great side, Bergkamp used to shit me up when we played them and he was on form, you could slap your mortgage on him scoring a right pearler of a goal and all the southern jurnos would wank till the feel asleep. Wenger for me has to be marked as one of the great managers of the Premiership, although I cant stand the two faced twat. What do you think of the Emirates/Highbury (have you been)? Never been, but ill echo what I said up there. I loved watching matches at Highbury on TV, especially the Arsenal v Man Ure matches, it looked an absolutley buzzing atmos, the crowd on top of the pitch. Its a damn pity that advertising rights for the Champs League games cut off the first few rows on some of the stands. As a Structural Engineer, stadia are my sort of fooballing wet dream. The new stadium is awesome and I hope to visit it one day. Do you have a few specific memories of games against Arsenal home and away? Home has to be the FA Cup Semi, Bergkamps bit of magic, he didnt mean to do it IMO but it was still an amazing finish, I was close to tears that day, totally ruined my weekend Away, the game where Jenas handballed, I wish I could have shot the little ghetto pimp. Also the game where Toure ( I think) smashed Shearer, I was cursing him with AIDS that day!! What do you feel about the current Arsenal team? Think Henry will be a massive miss this season, but thats it. Wenger is too shrewed and we thought they would miss Anelka but that changed. Henry IMO was becoming a real pain in the arse. Been too elaborate, too big headed, too large for Arsenal? If they keep hold of Van Pierse and Febregas stays fit then I can see them still been there or there abouts. I can see them, with an addition or two pushing for the League in another season. When Arsenal are on form I could watch them for hours on end with no doubt about it. Wenger has brought some awesome football to these Isles and thanks very much. What do you think of Arsenal fans? As I havent been to Highbury or the Emirates I cannot fully say. The Gooners I know are pretty much full of it but fair and they like good football. Now King Henry has gone they do seem down in the dumps, which is fair enough, but they are still optomistic. St Prediction: 4th

I am gutted for Leeds, but unfortunatley, rules are rules. I dont think Leeds fans feel they have the right to be in the Premiership. I get the feeling the should be there given the history of the club and the size of the city, but not the right to be in the Premiership. Notts Forest were favourites for League One when they went down the first time, mainly through the big name they had and the history of the club and also they did have some Championship players. Forest, however failed to get up, I think Leeds need to adpat really quickly and concentrate on a game by game basis and realise they are in League One and not Championship nor Premiership. If they concentrate on getting points quickly they may just survive League One and get promoted the following year? By Eck, they may even suprise us all and come up this season? -
Look at where the sun is in your garden, you may have loads you may not, this will dictate where you put certain veggies. Also look at the soil, if its good then cool, if not then it will need feeding, if so its good to start now ready for next year. Have a look at this webby

I was watching the Premiership years last Friday. A Leeds side with Ferdinand, Woodgate, Kewell, Viduka, Fowler, Smith, Martyn. Mental Everyone in Leeds are hating Bates and Wise, its gonna be a very tough season for Wise, VERY tough. -
Not with our injury problems no
-
It must be awrful for them. Why oh why has it been allowed to happen though. Same old thing aint it. Fuck all gets done until its too late, goes for everything in the country. Why arent the bridleways shut off and policed? Its easy to spread it and it will do if precautions arent put into placed and stuck too.

I enjoy baiting the Leeds fans in and out of the office, but I think youre spot on there. Its a masive shame for Leeds and you can feel some of the depression in the city. Normally you have a buzz for the new season, in Leeds there has been no -

is everyone happy ahead of the bolton game?

I am 100% happier than I was this time last season and the season before that. Well, truth be told, I havent been this buzzing about a start of a season since SBR was manager. The recent arrival of defenders and Alan Smith has definatley calmed me down compared to a week or so ago. The arrival of Big Sam wouldnt have been my first choice, but now with the methods and the players etc he has brought in I am very impressed by the new era at SJP. He has been saying the right things in interviews etc and it hasnt been easy for him with the goings on in the background with Ashley etc. I think we have recruited well to press and got rid of the players that we all wanted rid of. I would still like us to let Ramage, Carr, Babayaro and Dyer (possibley Owen if his fitness still isnt good by Jan, but who would want a crock?) definatley go but without replacements at the ready we should, for now at least hold onto them before the squad does get paper thin. In my opinion, we still need a RB and a CB/LB or a player that can comfortably play along the whole back four. We still are short of good cover incase the SJP curse falls on any of our new boys. If I could sign one player it would have to be a creative midfielder. I think we have the fire power for sure, but do we have someone who can put the ball into the box enough or do a bit of magic to open the defence? Do we? COME ON THE TOON -
Looking at these pics Smith looks well up for it. Cant wait for the season to start now Wetting my pants ooooops a little wee came out there just then
